Mixed experience
Great location for getting to everything but very noisy. Apartment was a little worn around the edges and offered no comfortable places to sit and relax with others. Furniture was hard and uninviting. Plumbing in bathrooms hardly worked; one bathroom had limited water in shower. We were issued one bath towel per person that were threadbare and discolored. While the apartment had some charm, we would not stay there again.

Lovely view but needs an upgrade in furniture and kitchenware
The location is fantastic as is the view from the living room. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and the bathrooms are modern. They need to get some new furniture in the living room, it is extremely old (michaelangelo old!) and uncomfortable. The heat in the living room also did not work well. They also need to get a new microwave (broken) and coffee maker which is circa 1945.

Center of it all!
Safe and comfortable! A short walk to all that Florence has to offer! Only recommendation would be better instructions on how to use the tv. Thanks for an unforgettable stay!

Perfect location.
This apartment is in the perfect location to walk to everything. The view of the ponte vecchio and Arno river, was perfect. The apartment is big and airy!! I’d recommend staying here… no question!!

Best location in Florence
This property is the ideal location for a trip to Florence. It literally sits on the Arno River across from the Ufizzi Museum. It is in the middle of all the action without any of the fuss or distractions. Less than a minute to Ponte Vecchio Bridge and downtown Florence, there is no better apartment in the city. Unfortunately, our trip began on a poor note when we could not find access to the apartment and found ourselves with a nine passenger van in a restricted motor vehicle area unable to find parking. The owner responded to our dire circumstances with what appeared to me as late and limited information. The check in procedure could certainly use a makeover. But as mentioned, once this fiasco was addressed, this apartment became one of the highlights to our trip.

If anything this property is undersold. The views are magnificent as is the location. You can literally walk anywhere in old Florence. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Everything mentioned in the ad is positively true.

Florence Family Trip
The location is great! The host made check in and out easy and they were easy to get in touch with. 3 bedrooms 3 baths is great and the size of the unit for 6 people was perfect. You are on a busy street and the units windows are old so it’s very loud in the bedrooms. The motorcycles and people on the street are loud. The people above have young children that ran around until 1am and the grocery store (which is nice) to have across the street starts opening at 5am and the guys are loud.

Authentic Florence apartment! The pictures are accurate! It’s an amazing view of the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi. You can’t pick a more perfect spot to access everything. Morning neighborhood walks. Great laundry access too for travelers! We will share with friends and family! Fantastic! Drivers were also always on time!

I should keep this place secret but…
This apartment is at a great location with a close view of the Arno, Ponte Vecchio, and Florence skyline. Clean facility and safe. Stefania and her family were accommodating, friendly, and professional. I will return to Florence again one day and hope to stay again in this apartment.

The location of the Ponte Vecchio was just perfect and the space was perfect for my parents to have their own room and bathroom, my husband, and I to have our own room and bathroom, and our college aged daughters to have their room and their own bathroom! In the evenings before, going to bed, we would open up a bottle of wine and talk in the huge living space that overlooks the Ponte Vecchio. Wonderful experience.

I made reservations months in advance and specifically asked about wheelchair accessibility. I was told that was no problem. For context, we are taking my mother on her first and last trip to Italy as her health is declining. Five days before we arrive I’m told the wheelchair will not fit in the elevator and figure we can get mom up there sitting on a chair and then bring the wheelchair. That would have worked, but when we got upstairs we saw that the wheelchair would not fit through many of the doors, including the bathroom door. The proposed resolution was that we could find someplace else and the owner would refund the cleaning fee. I was amazed by how callous the owner was. My mom is elderly and confined to a wheelchair and he could care less. We wound up scrounging for another place for our mom and her husband and spent a small fortune at the last minute. The owner said there was a notation on the listing that it wasn’t handicapped accessible, yet I asked that precise question before I booked, and I was told it was. In fact, I inquired at many other places and was provided a truthful responses about stairs, elevator access, narrow doorways or whatever else would preclude a person in a wheelchair from entering or staying in a rental unit. But with this owner I was told it would work. Now our trip of a lifetime is a nightmare that cost us more than we planned for with no apparent concern on the owner’s part. There were other minor issues, but they pale in comparison. The pictures show you the lovely view and that there are three bedroom and bathrooms. So this would have been good for our party of six. The big problem was that we had to find other accommodations for my mom at a moment’s notice and we were not able to spend time together as a family in the home we rented in this dream location. Shame on this owner. He has no idea how much he hurt my family.

Million dollar view
Stay here if you enjoy looking at a gorgeous view of Florence before and after touring. Big living room with windows are where we enjoyed snacks, breakfast and wine. Beds are comfortable but you do hear some street noise ( but also musicians on Ponte Vecchio). Actually there are 3 double rooms ( no single room as listed) each has a bathroom across the hall. Having a washer AND drier was convenient. And plenty of paper products and shampoo. Yes the living room furniture is old but we mostly just noticed the view. Would stay again and highly recommend!

Fantastic location, just a bit noisy
The hostess, Stefania, was great at communicating, and the apartment was comfortable, clean and had spectacular views of the Arno and the city center. Everything we wanted to see was within 15 minutes walking. There was construction occurring on the building starting daily at 6am, and the shouts of people on the street at night was a bit annoying. Not the fault of the hostess, so if you can ignore the noise, I highly recommend this apartment!

We had a great stay here at this wonderful apartment located perfectly overlooking the Ponte Vecchio. Views of the Doumo and the Tower were incredible. Very easy communication with the manager and help with booking a day trip to Sienna and Chianti. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms with a view!
We had a wonderful time at the fantastic apartment. The location is brilliant and the view amazing. It is very spacious and worked perfectly for our party of six. Easy walk to all attractions and great restaurants. Would benefit from a refresh to laundry facilities- the dryer wasn't working and very limited hanging facilities but this is an easy fix. Totally recommend.

My husband & I brought our granddaughters (19 & 21) to Florence for a week. We loved the location of this apartment! It was perfect. It is sometimes difficult to get a taxi. The manager and her daughter Nimoe were very helpful. We could not get our key to work one evening & they were there to help. I will say there is not a comfortable chair in the apartment. Although it looks good it is all very old. The chair have slip covers that don't fit so you slip right out! There were only two wine glasses in the kitchen. They need to update the inventory of plate, glasses & utensils. It was really nice to have a washer & dryer because were were there for over a week. Finding an electrical outlet is also interesting. The bedside lamps also need a serious update. I realize this is a historical apartment but I do think they could update all the lighting. Bottom line is if we went back I would stay in the same place!
