Zen Island, Concrete Zen Room

Our Concrete Zen Room is a beautiful, spacious duoble bedroom situated in a characteristic street downtown Florence, in an apartment from the 1700s. You share kitchen/living area, bathroom and courtyard with a single and a double bedroom. Free WiFi in the entire property, sheets and towels, shower gel and shampoo are included and you can add delicious breakfast in bed for 7 euros per person.

The apartment is situated in a historic building from the 1700s and our street begins in San Lorenzo Square. Bathroom, kitchen/living area and private courtyard are shared with one double bedroom and one single bedroom, so you can meet travelers from all over. Cook dinner in our fully equipped kitchen, play some board games in the living area or hang out in the courtyard and enjoy some sun!´
Free WiFi is provided and breakfast can be added for 7 euros.
All sights are walking distance! No public transportation needed.
This room can get quite noisy in the morning, from 7am to 8 am, because the vendors of the market pass by our street, so we can provide earplugs for you!

IMPORTANT
From January 2024, there will be construction works going on in our building, because we are getting a new rooftop, a new facade and a lift. So, there won't be much sunlight coming in from the windows because of the scaffolding and there can be dust and noise in the building. We are sorry for any inconvenience and hope it will be done soon.

You will get keys to the apartment and to your private bedroom. You can use the kitchen, living area and courtyard whenever you want, but we ask your respect for our other guests and our neighbours.

STREET NOISE
Your bedroom faces a characteristic street in the center of Florence. In the early morning, there can be noise of the vendors carrying the market stands, but we can provide earplugs!

We live at about five minutes walking distance, so you can write us a message or call and we can pass by quickly. We are also happy to share a drink with you :)
Bred's dad Alberto offers wine tours to the oldest wine castle in Tuscany, which is one of the most chanting experiences you can sample in the surroundings.

The San Lorenzo area is famous for the leather market and for San Lorenzo church. The Duomo is 3 minutes walking distance and all sights are walking distance, too. The station is 8 minutes by foot, so you don't need public transportation. In your room, you find a guide with our favorite bars, restaurants and things to do in Florence to help you make the most out of your stay.

All monuments, museums, restaurants in the area and bars are walking distance, so no public transportation is needed. The station is only 8 minutes walking and the closest parking is Garage Michelangelo, at a 4 minute walk. Our guests get a discount there.

No smoking inside the apartment. Smoking is only allowed in the courtyard.
Please respect the neighbors. No loud noise after 11pm. Please wash your dishes and put everything back to its place if you use the kitchen. Please let us know if you would like to bring a friend over.
