Downtown Folly Beach (less than half a mile away) offers tourists and locals great dining options for all tastes, such as Taco Boy, The Crab Shack, Loggerhead's Beach Grill, BLU Beach Bar & Grill, and more. Sign up for surfing or paddleboard lessons at one of the various rental companies on the island. If you'd like to learn more about historic downtown Charleston's history, then hop in your car and travel 11.7 miles up north.
