Hillside at Horsetooth overlooks Horsetooth Reservoir and is a short 2-minute drive to lake access. A paddle board and kayak are included for your groups lake adventures as well as the daily park pass. This is a luxury rental unlike any in the area. Bring your boat and your friends and get ready for your dream vacation.

Watch for the deer in the trees as you drive up the path toward our secluded two-story home. As you walk through the front door, you will feel at home with the stylish Colorado decor. Indulge in the large windows overlooking Horsetooth Reservoir. Spend chilly mornings on the wrap-around deck with a steaming cup of coffee or a hot afternoon grilling steaks and enjoying a few of the local brews. Keep warm by the double-sided fireplace enjoying the snow-covered treetops.

The master bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed and private bath with a large jetted tub and walk-in shower. The two additional bedrooms offer queen beds and a shared bath. You'll have a restful night's sleep on the luxury bedding supplied with plenty of cozy blankets. With stainless steel appliances, a propane stove, and granite countertops, you'll enjoy your time in the kitchen cooking your group breakfast or packing a picnic for the day's adventures.

If you are missing city life, don't stress. Just 10 minutes away you will find the vibrant city of Fort Collins where you can smell the beer brewing and nightlife come alive.

I almost hate to say how great this house was!

The house is top notch with easy access to trails and the marina. The house included all the essentials such as plenty of towels, kitchen cookware, clean comfy beds with nice linens. We saw several deer in the backyard as well as rabbits and really enjoyed the peaceful area.

There are 3 things I look for in a vacation home experience: Comfortable beds, Access to coffee, and cleanliness. This adorable lake house checked all 3 of those boxes. The house is updated with a chip & Johanna touch, the kitchen is fully stocked with all your needs ( including a kuerig, coffee maker & French press), loved all the outdoor seating and large windows for views & natural light. We were a family of four staying here for an entire month during the holidays. The property manager Alyssa was extremely easy to get in touch with. Upon arrival she had placed a small Christmas tree for our family which I thought was very thoughtful. The kitchen had a handful of snacks and drink offerings which my kids loved. Again, I’m huge fan of comfort and relaxation, all the bathrooms came with cozy white robes. The neighborhood is very quiet and kind. Lots of wild animals (elk,deer,wild turkeys, bobcats). There is a trailer home community at the end of the hill, a small little store along with a bar ( it’s kicking on the weekends) but again every one was kind and quiet. You are close to the lake, hiking trails and about a 18 min drive to central Fort Collins. We enjoyed our time in this home and would absolutely recommend it to anyone. Have a glass of wine and enjoy a weekend in the mountains. Thanks for the hospitality, Alyssa !

Perfect Lake Vacation in Fort Collins
My family and our family friends enjoyed our stay at the Hillside property. The house was beautiful with a nice open floor plan.The back deck was perfect for dinners and letting the kids run around. The bedrooms were comfy and also provided enough space for our two families. The house was also very close to hiking and the lake. We brought our boat and parked it at the marina for the week. (I wouldn't recommend trying to park a boat in the drive way. The hill to the house is too steep and the turn is a bit sharp.) The house came with everything we needed in the kitchen and it was great to have the option of 2 paddle boards and a kayak. We had a little trouble with the AC at night being a bit too cold/loud and not being able to turn it off. But during the day it was a great temp. Thank you for a wonderful stay we would definitely stay again.
