Let me start by saying we have stayed at this hotel probably four or five times in the past but never again. There was a time it was a very nice hotel. We booked a marina view balcony room. The first room we were given was first floor window room with a terrible smell. Went back to the office and they moved us to a second floor balcony room with a view of a massive palm tree, one chair on the balcony, the smell was worse than the first, and every piece of furniture had “questionable” stains everywhere. Took another trip to the desk with my complaints and spoke directly to the manager. She seemed bothered and annoyed but offered to give us a better quality room at no extra cost. Let’s just say it went from a two star to a three star. Even the bellboy who helped us with our bags said it smelled much better. On day two we decided to check out the pool…. Gross!!!! The pool is slimy and every chair cushion is disgusting. This hotel needs a lot of work. NEVER AGAIN will we stay here!!!!

I stayed at this property many many years ago and it is truly iconic South Florida. I do wish that the bathrooms in the rooms were a bit more updated, but it was clean and well appointed. I would definitely recommend it & stay there again though

The gate for the walkway to the beach is chained at the entrance to the hotel after 9pm. They do not let delivery up after 9pm so you have to come down and get it. They gave my ocean view room that I prepaid for away and gave me a partial view for one night and didn't give me my room until after 1pm the next day. Parking is ridiculously expensive.

Staff is friendly , the only cons to this hotel is drinks are crazy expensive. Also property should supply water to the gentleman working the beach. Over all good experience.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! The city cut a power line and caused a couple of the area hotels to be without power. The staff made sure everyone was as comfortable as possible. They passed out water and served a free breakfast buffet. They also compensated us for the inconvenience. We would stay there again, as it was easy to get to everything we needed to.
