Double booked and poor customer service
This is one the worst experiences I've had renting a property. First, I could not get in touch with the property manager until a few hours of arrival (I drove 7 hours for the trip). Upon arrival the property had signs that read "Beware of Dog", "NO Trespassing", and "Danger" posted all over the front of the house. This was not welcoming.
Another party arrived an hour later claiming they also booked the property through another platform. When I called the manager he yelled at me and told me to vacate the property claiming that I was in the wrong and that I did not book the property. A few minutes later he realised his mistake--he double-booked. The manager never apologised for his yelling at me. Then the keypad wouldn't lock meaning we could not leave the property and the manager told me to just leave it unlocked and that "no one will come in " while we are gone.
We were only there for 2 nights so that first night was pretty much wasted waiting around to resolve the key pad issue.
The property was okay but the customer service experience is why I am giving this such a poor review. I would never stay there or any other property owned by this person again!
