After waiting all day for them to service the room I went downstairs to report that the service people had left the floor. When I said my room was not serviced, they said that they didn’t service the room because I didn’t order it by scanning a sign downstairs., and they were quite short about it. So I asked for clean towels which they said would they would deliver to my room. How was I to know that I had to order room cleaning. It would have been nice to have been informed because I am 75 years old and have never been asked to scan something so that they would service the room. Never again Scandic.

Peaceful area by the river
Really nice hotel in a peaceful quieter area away from the more grimey touristy streets nearer the train station. Our room was ready early 10:30 am and we were dead tired from our flight and were so thankful. Not many food options around here but still very much enjoyed the location.

Very friendly staff, walkable distance to every POI at Frankfurt. I did not use Uber to go anywhere, walked the entire city. I felt safe. Main riverside walk is just a block away. I recommend this place to stay.

Got placed in an accessible room. Everything low to the ground and alarms disguised as light switches everywhere. Was mildly inconvenient. Room stayed at 23 degrees all night despite the air conditioner running non-stop. Taking the room key with you disables the AC unit. Too warm for my Canadian veins.

I spend a lot of time at the theatre and opera when I am in Frankfurt, and I arrive and depart at the main rail station. The Scandic's location and facilities make it an ideal place for me to stay. I will be back next spring.

The staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in. I loved the room--modern with lots of amenities. Breakfast was delicious. It is a quick walk to the train station without being part of the immediate neighborhood there. Also an easy walk to the museums.

This is fine for a one night stay. We arrived after 9 in the evening and there were no dining options in the hotel or surrounding area. We’ve stayed at several Scandics in other locations and this particular hotel was a little below the expectations. It just needs some updating as it’s looking a bit tired. The staff was friendly. The room, spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was fine but the towels were old and thin. No real amenities other than liquid soap attached to the wall. It is a convenient walk to the train station, but a bit of a sketchy area.

It's close to the train station, in a quiet neighborhood, near the river.Breakfast is excellent, and the room it self is very nice, though it lacked some of the basics in the bathroom : shower cap, slippers, vanity kit , among others. Luckily I usually carry them for emergencies like in this property.
