Historic Dogtrot cabin | Sleeps 2 | 4min drive to Main St.

The Dogtrot is one of the Hill Countryā€™s most successful and well known guest houses.
Our log cabin is built in a southern style called a ā€œdogtrotā€. A dogtrot is a building with sleeping quarters at each end joined by a breezeway in the middle.
The Dogtrot was originally built on the banks of the Cumberland river in Tennessee. In 1997, it was moved to the Texas Hill Country.
The Dogtrot has been inspected repeatedly and was given an ā€œoutstanding qualityā€ certification by Historic Accommodations of Texas for 10 consecutive years.

The entire property is smoke-free. Our B&B offers 2 suites for guests. Each suite can accommodate up to 2 guests. Each suite offers:

Fun Cabin for two!
Beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful. Short drive from Fredericksburg. Easy check in, simple check out. I wished I would have spent more time enjoying the property but shopping/eating/drinking downtown was also fun.

Pure Texas Hill country charm. The cabin has so much history to it. Perfectly furnished. Located close to town and wineries. Robert was a wonderful host. We had the very best stay and will return for certain.
