I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights as 4 ladies enjoy a weekend away from time to time and stayed at comfort inn a few times.l in the past. When I booked with hotel.com to stay at comfort inn Fredericton I was not notified that their was major renovations being done on the premises. To get to the ice machine and breakfast was terribly dusty and not appropriate to walk by the working area. The workers are very loud and in our room had a hole by the air conditioning/heater unit to see outside and noise of cars and talking woke us at 6:50am . I know a storm happened but getting to go down for breakfast and all was only served toast and couple muffins wasn’t what we expected because workers never showed up for their shift. I only knew of the renovations at time of check in where I would of likely picked a different hotel this trip. Not sure I will take the chance to book with hotels.com in the future or if we will stay with comfort inn again. Sorry for the negativity but us 4 ladies did not enjoy our trip.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that our room had been cancelled 5 days before because they’d overbooked. I received no notification of that cancellation and was offered no alternative but to go somewhere else and find a room. It was a very busy weekend and all the hotels were booked. Thankfully someone at the Quality Inn took pity on us and we were able to get another room.
