Excellent stay! room was quiet and clean and has great beach access! After being on other beaches in St Croix this one is right at the top. Air conditioning was great but when you want to turn it off, the windows open to hear the surf.

Cottages was everything and so much more! I did a good amount of research and knew I wanted to stay in Frederiksted when looking at available places. Cottages came out above the rest. First it's on the water, you can wake up, and walk right into the water whenever you choose. And, please don't downplay the beach... this is the Caribbean sea, not any regular beach. Serene waters, calm and salty so you float easily, plus cottages have a plethora of floats and beach toys to use. To enhance the experience there's rocky areas where you'll see loads of small fish. This was especially fun for the kids to follow around the fish with their snorkel gear. We stayed in the chart house, which slept 5, and it was great for our family. It's not just a hotel room, it's great for big families like mine, since it's always a challenge to get a room that can fit all of us comfortably. The cottage has a full kitchen: full size fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, pots, pans & dishes. I knew I wanted to find some local fisherman to score some fish and this kitchen was so useful for all meals. The location is great as its a short drive from just about all the restaurants in the area. It's also close to excursions like jet ski & off roading. We had an absolute blast, and I was near tears on our last day. Thank you Cottages for allowing us to experience the beauty of your island through the hospitality of the Cottages. Many memories were made here that we won't soon forget!

This is a great place to stay on a family vacation. The property is literally on the beach. You can access the beach at anytime. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, especially Kate and Kishma. The units have a kitchen which is a definite plus. I would recommend staying here and will definitely be returning. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We stayed at the end of March of this year. It was our first visit to St. Croix. We loved the quaint feeling of the cottage and the friendliness of all the staff. We were there the week before Easter and the locals set up campsites at the edges of the beach. We had some several days of untypically rough water but were still able to enjoy the beach. We did snorkel at the Pier. Make sure you enter the water to the left of the pier. The hike to Ham's Bluff lighthouse is a little difficult but it is not crowded and you are rewarded with incredible views.

The staff was always very friendly and helpful and the other vacationers were all very lovely most had been coming for 10 years or more. This is our first trip. There wonā€™t be our last.

Perfect spot for a quick getaway. The view of the ocean from our room was beautiful especially while we enjoyed breakfast on our patio. Snorkeling off the beach was excellent. We saw sea turtles, sting rays and even an octopus! They even have spare flippers and snorkel equipment at no extra cost. The hotel next door has a restaurant making dinner easy and convenient if you donā€™t want to head into town or cook. Canā€™t wait to visit again!

Wonderful stay!
My son and I loved this property! The beach was perfect and the views were incredible! We loved being able to have a kitchen and the barbecues on site! The staff was friendly and helpful! I will be back! The only thing I could have used in our room was a broom or a mini vac for the sand that we tracked in. Not every day had housekeeping, which is fine, but I wouldnā€™t mind sweeping up after myself. Other than that, the property was charming and beautifulā¤ļø

We would have given this property 5 stars, the location to a beautiful beach was outstanding, very friendly staff, condition of location was good. The reason for less stars and our only dissatisfier was, roaches, if possible we would have changed locations because living amongst roaches does not a great vacation make. We left some food out one night and saw roaches in it the next day. We highly recommend that the property do something about this ASAP.

Very few restaurants nearby and all had limited hours, closed Sun-Tue and nothing opens early. I suggest planning to eat most meals in or travel to Christiansted for dining. Close to the pier where you will certainly see sea turtles if you snorkel, but lots to see just south of the beach in front of the cottages, too. Weā€™ll likely be back but will do meals differently.
