Incredible! Staff was so friendly, the room and property were clean and tidy, the restaurant was so delicious and the daily specials were phenomenal! Canā€™t wait to return! The owners and staff made us feel like family. We traveled in September and it felt like we had the resort, beach and island to ourselves! Super intimate and perfect for a romantic honeymoon getaway. Canā€™t give them enough praise and one million thumbs up!

This resort was a saving grace to us during our week long trip to STX in August. Our family of four booked a private villa through Vrbo. The private villa located in Cane Bay / Kings Hill area was a nightmare. No way we could stay there. Vrbo helped us find Sandcastle for the remainder of our trip which I booked through Expedia which was 6 days. We stayed in the Dolphin: 2 bed, 2 bath private villa which also has a full kitchen. (This was great as we had $400 in groceries purchased for our vrbo. We enjoyed staying here. All of the staff were great. All were very friendly and offered great service, right down to the sweet ladies in housekeeping! This place has a lovely atmosphere. I liked metal sculptures and tropical plants. The restaurant was great. The view incredible! We ended up eating there at least once a day or ordered cocktails from the bar. The beach is beautiful , beach service was fantastic! (The painkiller cocktail, is amazing!) On the third day of our trip tropical storm Ernesto hit the island. All the USVI had no power, and many residents without water. The resort had back up systems. We didnā€™t experience any interruptions to power or water. We were very thankful to ride out the storm here at the resort as so many people/ businesses did not have the same experience. The generator ran until the day before our departure. I think itā€™s truly sad that in this day and age residents were without power, water, or both for so long after a tropical storm.

Everything was great, clean and comfortable. Peaceful atmosphere. Continental breakfast wasnā€™t very continental as were used (caprisun juice packs) to and simply got breakfast locally offsite.

Pros: lots! Very nice quiet and relaxing boutique hotel. Staff- every one if them- were so welcoming and friendly. We stayed in a king ocean view balcony and it was great. Had a kitchen area with everything youā€™d need. Nice sandy beach with chairs and umbrellas. Immaculate room and grounds. Conā€™s: theā€œ breakfastā€ was sad for even continental style and was served from the office window. Restaurant was convenient but not great- surprised it gets so many accolades- had huge portions but lots of food seemed like frozen and packaged- Kraft boxed mac-n- cheese served and offered same ā€œspecialā€ 14 oz steak all week. However always served with a smile. Although we enjoyed our week, we will try someplace else next time. Iā€™d give a 7-8/10 and this is due to the food.

This place is like heaven on earth, man. The owners, Chris and Ted, are super cool. Chris would take the time to show us these amazing flowers around the resort whenever he saw us. One of them even smelled like Chanel No. 5! They have tortoises in the courtyard, which was pretty awesome. I even helped find one. Josh at the front desk was super helpful and friendly, giving us all the best info about the island and what was going on in town. The beach is beautiful and the water is crystal clear full of beautiful fish and if you're lucky like us you'll even swim with sea turtles! I would go back there in a heartbeat. If you want a vacation where you can totally forget about the real world and relax, this is the place to be.

Everyone was friendly super sweet. Went out their way to make sure our stay was pleasant . Rooms were cleaned, food was delicious, atmosphere 10 out 10. Caribbean Sea on the beach was unreal. Paradise. Only downside was that no turn up place. Everything shuts down and closes by 6pm even on the weekend .

Excellent location with access to the best beaches on the island. However you could tell the owners have been gone for a bit as the staff are slacking and the food is definitely mid. Drinks are good but pricey. Given the price of the food it should be top tier, itā€™s not. The rooms are excellent and the hidden pool is awesome. Beach is great as well, just bring bug spray.

Proerty was clean and nice. Service was very friendly. Stretch of beach was amazing and they go over the top top provide gear for snorkeling and floating in the ocean to relax. Beach service was to notch as well! Will def visit again.
