Sea Salt is a short walk from the surf and sand! This two-story beach house is ready to be your home away from home along the Gulf Coast. This beautifully decorated, family-friendly vacation rental features a full kitchen, an island table suitable for meals or family game nights, a comfortable living area with satellite TV, a large outdoor shower, and a furnished balcony with views of the Gulf of Mexico as well as bay views.

Enjoy local restaurants, bars, fishing opportunities, boat ramps, and plenty of fun nearby. Less than three miles away, visit Pier 30 to sample their famous ribs, crawfish, and Boudin balls stuffed with cheese. This home is just a short walk from the beach where you can spend your days under the Texas sun. Make a trip up to Galveston Island and then on to downtown Galveston where you can enjoy the waterfront at the historic Pleasure Pier, have fun at various amusement parks, and shop and dine to your heart's delight, all less than 40 miles from your front door.

THINGS TO KNOW
Due to fluctuating tap water quality in the Village of Surfside Beach, it is recommended to bring bottled water for drinking and/or cooking during your stay. During times of elevated water contaminants, water coming from the faucets and toilets may have a yellow tint. The water is safe for bathing.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Someone had killed a roach or something in the shower on the wall. It was still there when we arrive, stuck to the wall. Also master bedroom bed was low to the floor and squeaked every time you moved. Wasn’t informed about parking passes until it was time for me to leave. I could have saved a few dollars had I known. This was the first time I have been totally disappointed. We were woke up at 2am with a woman beating on door needing help supposedly.

This beach house was far and away better than the one we stayed at last year. It was very clean, nicely decorated with the beach a minute walk down the street. We'll be repeating at this place if it's available for rental the next time we come down.

Tranquil and nice
So close to the beach, Walker easily and could see and hear the ocean from the great deck. Had everything we needed and it was walking distance to a local shop (Surfside Loco) for beer, wine, trinkets, beach stuff, bathing suits, towels, and fresh, organic, free range eggs. My only complaint isn’t about the house but that the beach is drive-on and it’s not just a drive on and park thing, people legitimately drive up and down and it’s kinda dangerous but people like it, I guess lol. It’s just not for me and there is a pedestrian beach just west of the main road into town. It’s not a dealbreaker just letting other parents know. We really enjoyed ourselves and had plenty of the necessities (shampoo, conditioner, soap, towels, detergent, trash bags - there was even coffee, tea, and bottled water for us). We had no complaints - the house was spotless and had awesome beds and pillows! I was very cozy at night.

The property was beautiful and so clean. Proximity to the beach was great. We had great beach weather. However, the electric was a mess. The microwave didn't heat, the coffee pot didn't work. When we used the cook top the electric upstairs had a decrease in power. When I used my blow dryer the lights in the master bath dimmed. I would stay here again if the electric got fixed.

The house, the location, the communication with Vacasa was perfect! We extended our stay a night because we didn't want to leave. When I needed to get in touch with Vacasa, it took less than two minutes for my problem to be solved. I would definitely recommend this place and DEFINITELY stay here again!

Everything was great! Only negative comment was one of the upstairs bathroom doors would not stay shut and floors felt dirty but they could be just the way it is being that close to the beach. Was happy all toiletries and bath towels came with the house and loved the use of the washer and dryer!! Big plus!!!!!

The house was clean and had everything we needed. We really have no major complaints and are pleased with our stay. The down stairs toilet shoots water out of the bowl when someone flushes the upstairs toilet. So, avoided using the downstairs toilet if at all possible. We also had a cockroach visit the living room on our last evening. However, that was the only one we saw.

Spring break
We had a great time at Surf Side Beach. Sea Salt was the perfect size for our family and had all the necessary things we needed for a comfortable stay. It was our first time staying at this location and had no clue to how small Surf Side was as a beach village. Would have been helpful to have known that groceries was 15+ minutes away and to plan accordingly. All in all, we were looking for peace and relaxation and that is what we found.

We had a blast swimming, fishing, sunning, sandcastling, and relaxing. The beach is accessible via a short walk down the small street in front of the home. Bring your own drinking water. The faucet water is fine for cooking and bathing, but you'll need bottled. Water for drinking. We loved the place!

Perfect weekend getaway
We drove from DFW and this was the perfect getaway. Surfside is the perfect quiet beach town. We had direct access to the beach and our kids loved it! Short drive to Galveston or Lake Jackson. Everything you need is within 10 minutes away! Will be visiting again!

Wonderful Experience! Beautiful property! Perfect for a getaway & perfect for pets!
The house was beautifully renovated & had so many perfect little touches around the house. Especially if you have pets, this place is great. They provided a water bowl to have at the house or take to the beach, as well as dog waste bags. It was very thoughtful! The house is in the perfect location, only about a 5 min walk to the beach, or a 2 min drive to the beach access road. Close vicinity to lots of stores and restaurants. I can’t recommend the Beachfront Deck Bar and Grill enough! Overall 10/10. This place was great!
