The staff was excellent although the beach towels didn't arrive until the day we were leaving. We booked at a marina thinking it would be like in Spain with lots of cafes, restaurants, shops and things to see. We were extremely disappointed to find EVERYTHING was a cab ride away. A very expensive inconvenience having nothing onsite or even within walking distance.

a pretty hotel attractively set out on grounds overlooking marina, and staff were personable, helpful and friendly. We used their free bicycles to get to a mini-mall for some groceries. we used the in-room coffee-maker & fridge, but there was no microwave, although we discovered there was one we could use in their common-room. They should tell guests that, as there are no nearby eating places. Their one drawback is location - even the beach is a long walk, and to do anything else, we had to go by taxi, each trip $20, so even our limited agenda got expensive, luckily we were just there to take a break after a cruise..

Decent place to get a good night's sleep
Very helpful staff and room was nice. This place is not luxurious, but quite adequate for a good night's sleep. It did have a small coffee pot and fridge in the little kitchenette area, but no microwave. There is not much available nearby as far as beach, restaurants, etc. We ordered delivery pizza for our dinner as we had no car to drive to another area for food. Okay place to sleep, but not much for entertainment there or nearby.

Very quiet location near the waterway.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Check in was delightful. The hotel is in a quiet location away from the usual areas of Freeport but we found it easy using Google Maps.

Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Quick bike ride to the store to get your supplies and the bikes are free. Free Wi-Fi so you can stay updated with everything on the home front.

I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.
The hotel was a ghost town, i reserved and paid for a room with a king bed - they have no such rooms. I ended up having to stay in a room with a twin bed and broken A/C. Nowhere to eat nearby, not even at the hotel, the hotel staff recommended not to leave the hotel property after the sun goes down in the interest of my safety and well being. Overall a very bad experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

It was great and had a great time but the hotel is away from all of the shopping places and entertainment. Although the kayaking was a great way to exercise and enjoy the canal. Also the the bike ride to the private beach was great for me and the wife to spend some alone time together.

Nice resort
Nice resort, great for the price. Great staff, on site security 24/7, and activities room with pool table and dining area. Location is where locals stay, 10 min walk to store, 10 min walk to private secluded beach. Would definitely come back again to stay when visiting my boyfriend

Good place to relax
Good place to spend one night. It was very clean and comfortable. I wouldn't consider it if you're looking for a place near nightlife or a variety of restaurants though. If you don't have a car it would take you an hour to bike to Port Lucaya.

About what you would expect
Hotel & rooms are in good condition. Location is quiet & isolated but nice - right on the water but no beach. Biking available. We stayed 3 nights, housekeeping did not clean the room the 2nd night which was annoying. Otherwise we had a pleasant, quiet stay.

Nice property, lovely view and quiet!
This was a very nice property. The front desk was friendly and accommodating. It was quiet and the property grounds are beautifully maintained. The room only had a comforter, no blanket, so a little cold at night, but I never asked for blanket. In room safe was broken, but I never felt unsafe. The beach is a short bike ride, and they supply the bike. The beach was beautiful and there was very few people on it. Had a lovely stay and would definitely use this hotel again. If you want to be in the center of action this is not the place for you. If you came to relax and enjoy the beach this is where you want to be
