Upmarket B&B. Not a spa. Not a hotel.
This property is not a hotel. It is a very nice B&B. What it describes itself as having is untrue. It is not a spa, per se. It has a treatment room and you can order (very good) treatments in advance. There is no restaurant or bar. You are offered an evening meal but you have a choice of two dishes which you order in advance. There is no starter and very limited dessert choice. There is a (very expensive) wine list. It lists, among other things, tennis courts, full spa services, mini golf, horse riding etc as 'on site' but they are not. The breakfast was nice but the same every day, the extra choice being a yoghurt or maybe some eggs. The room prices are in no way reflective of the rooms offered. I had booked a room for over 200 Euros per night including breakfast. There was no window, apart from a skylight and nowhere to hang clothes. The owner offered us another larger room at twice the price. There was no en suite bathroom. It was in the corridor outside. There was no mirror, bedside table, tea making facilities, iron or ironing board. For over 500 Euros per night, you would expect these! The owner and staff were very considerate. However, to call the establishment a hotel is well off the mark. Very, very poor value for money. Hotels.com should not be a party to misleading the public.
