Our house is quietly located in a small cottage area on the southern coast of the Bodden, from the balcony they have a magnificent view of the Saaler Bodden. In Bodstedt you will find the traditional harbor with the famous Zeesbooten and the boat dock, a small beach with lawn, several restaurants (of course with fish dishes), a fish stall with smokehouse, a summer cinema on Camingplatz still many other recreational opportunities. The Bodden is also a famous kitesurfing and fishing area. You can rent a fishing boat at the harbor or in Pruchten / Barth. The beaches to Zingst or Prerow are only a few kilometers, which you can also reach by bike (rental on site). Ribnitz-Damgarten (Ger. Amber Museum and manufactories), Stralsund (Ozeaneum, Oceanography Museum), Rostock (Zoo and Warnemünde) and of course the Fischland / Darß (Ahrenshoop ...) are also worth a visit. Cafe in about 50 m. Many shopping possibilities in Barth (4 km - Lidl, Aldi, Edeka, Famila, pride ...). Barther Boddenbühne, Bible and local history museum, airfield in the small town on the Barthe. Our house is heated with a modern heat pump. The toilet flushing is always done with rainwater.
