Both Western & Japanese breakfast we’re excellent; servers were energetic & efficient. Lobby & coin laundry area seemed to be updated/remodeled but rooms were retro with outdated fixtures; rooms had the old fashioned keys with the room number, not card keys! But it was a clean & nice stay.

I'm afraid to say that although the stay is great, guests are VERY loud and a bit out of Japanese rules. Since I like quiet and proper manners, I cannot recommend the property. More should be done to teach, or make guest follow the norms of the property, if there are any.

Nice stay, fantastic location, great value!
Stayed for four nights here for business. Hotel is clean, staff is friendly, and the artificial onsen / bath area is quite nice. Wish the breakfast has better selection or variety - by day #4 I was a bit sick of it, but other than that it was a great value hotel. Location is fantastic- just a short minute walk from Fukui station and lots to eat around the area.

Hotel so close to JR station
The hotel is just located outside the JR Fukui station, it takes no more than 1 min walk. The buffet breakfast is super with lot of varities. There is complimentary ramen at night 9:30-10:30pm, don't miss it though it will let you gain weight. Free Onsen though not nature one is available almost most of the days. All these are at 2F. The room is comfort but small as it's typical at Japan cities. Wifi is strong and fast.

Very convenient. Just 2 ~ 3 mins walk from Fukui station. Very good service. Luggage can be stored at the lobby after checked out. Love the buffet breakfast provided. Even guests not staying at the hotel can go, it costs ¥1000 per person only. Very nice and variety foods. I'd to go again next time even not staying at the hotel.

Clean and comfortable and very convenient
Wonderful! The hotel is just 1-2min from the JR Fukui station, which was very useful when we reached in cold and rainy weather. The receptionist was very friendly and spoke good English. The hotel provides free coffee and water in the lobby, and ramen from 9.30-10.30pm at their cafe right outside the in-house onsen, so its a nightly routine to go for a hot soak after dinner then ramen supper before going back to the room for a good night sleep. We had 2 connecting double rooms, and the hotel had set them up nicely with the connecting door opened before we checked in. Rooms were nicely sized for Japanese standards, very clean and comfortable. There are a couple of malls around the hotel, mostly restaurants and shops selling souvenirs and foodstuff. Couple of convenience stores, a supermarket, and a fairly big drugstore in the JR station. We rented a car at the JR car rental just beside the hotel, and managed to cover both the Fukui Dinosaur Museum and a couple hours of snow play at the SkiJam Katsuyama Resort in 1 day. If by public transport will have needed to split 2 days even though the 2 are just 10min drive apart. We didn’t have that much time to explore the rest of Fukui, but there are a couple of other interesting places. Will definitely stay back at this hotel if we visit Fukui again.
