Location was excellent, the room was big, clean and with nice views. I didn't like the fact that the bedroom lacked plugs, only two in the room (both ocuppied with tv and lamp) and none in the bathroom, which in these days, with cellphones and computers to charge + hairdryer, shaving machines, etc, is not very comfortable.

Basic accommodations in great location
The room was inexpensive and in a great location. People working there were very nice. We called a number upon arriving and someone met us (be sure you can make phone calls). There was no view, one pillow, inexpensive and basic furniture, dim lights, but the location was great. There is no way my husband would stay here but for more forgiving and hearty travelers, it served its purpose well. Breakfast (a fresh roll, juice, and coffee) was served with a smile by a nice lady.

Good value for money simple pension in a very central location. Coffee/tea, juice and bread/butter/jam for breakfast. Free Wifi and TV in room. Overnight parking in supermarket car park 6 euros (door closes 11 pm) 5 mins walk away.

Simple hotel near the Sé, in Funchal center
