Needing a boat or jet ski rental???
Upon booking, you’ll receive our digital guidebook that will have the number to a friend who offers a deeply discounted pontoon boat rental to our guests, based on availability. Also, we have partnered with a few others in the area to offer our guests discounted boating and jet ski rates.
We have a 11pm-7am quiet period outside to not disturb the neighbors. We love hosting guests for birthdays, but this is not a house for a large party but for friends and family to get together to celebrate.
Your rustic luxury getaway offers 3 king bed master suites. For the family, a gourmet coffee bar, kayaks for guest use, and a game room for those few rainy days. High end kitchen, outdoor gas and charcoal grill, and Blackstone griddle. Solo stove firepit on the patio for relaxing after a hard day of play on the water.
You will step into a spacious foyer with our welcome table. To your left will be the kids bunk room with 2 twin beds and 2 pull out trundle beds. Linens for trundles will be in the closet if needed. Attached to that room is the main floor dual entry bathroom with tiled shower. Main floor living room has a huge and comfy sectional, gas fireplace, smart TV that is perfect for movie nights. There is also a cabinet full of boredom beater board games. The faux leather backdrop bar area is behind the living room with more seating. Off the living room is the newly updated kitchen with double oven, electric cooktop and all the amenities you need for takeout or for cooking a big meal for everyone. Gourmet coffee bar with Keurig, drip coffee, milk frother, cold brew, and flavored syrups. Off the kitchen is the main floor king bedroom with attached ensuite. This bathroom has a fiberglass shower/tub combo. Main floor back deck has charcoal and gas grill, griddle, and patio dining table.
The master bedroom is upstairs and has an attached bathroom. Bathroom has jetted tub, anti-fog mirror and water closet that has small fiberglass shower. The master bedroom has an easily moveable desk for a working vacation. Walk out balcony with gorgeous and partial water view.
Across from the master is the loft with kids' reading tent, lots of books, and a game table with removeable poker top.
Downstairs has a small kitchen with full size appliances for storing all the drinks! Game room with pool table and pong arcade games. Off the game room is a double queen bedroom with smart tv. The 3rd king room is off the game room with attached shared shower. Walk out deck with plenty of seating and a solo stove firepit. We do have firewood for guest use so please let me know if we run low. There are also kayaks at the dock for guest use. Outdoor activities are used at your own risk and life jackets may not be provided in all sizes.
Needing a boat rental?????
Upon booking you will receive a link to our digital guidebook which has info on a deeply discounted boat rental, based on availability so call quickly. The guidebook has more pics of the house with videos and area recommendations. It can be saved to your mobile home screen so you have access to us anytime.
Just a few things to note, as with many homes on Lake Lanier the deeper the water at your dock the steeper the walk to the water. That being said, I cannot recommend this home to someone with mobility issues. Log homes attract carpenter bees, we have a pest control service but please be aware if you have a bee allergy and in the spring time. We are a rustic log home and not a luxury hotel. Knotty Pine Hideaway has her quirks. Her floors creak and she has flaws in the wood. You will even see where someone played darts very badly. We are weekend warriors and do most of the projects ourselves. It's all part of her story and we hope you love Knotty Pine Hideaway as much as we do.

The house is roughly 300 feet from the dock so most baby monitors will not work from the dock.
Grill, Blackstone, and solo stove fire pit outdoor areas are not included in cleaning so please clean after use.
No pets on the furniture and pick up after your pets.
Please make sure gas is off to the fireplace when not using.
There are several deer and other wildlife so please be respectful and don't leave trash outside.
No parties.
We do have 2 owner's closets that will be locked during your stay. One on the loft and one downstairs off the queen bedroom.
Per the county laws minimum age to rent is 25 and max occupancy is 13 guests and no one night stays.
Federal law prohibits fireworks and firearms on the lake.
We support small local business so all trash must be bagged, and cans must be by the street on Thursdays.
No parking on the street.
Max of 4 cars in the driveway.
We live in a neighborhood with permanent residents so please keep noise down between hours of 11pm-7am.
If we are contacted by neighbors or authorities of a disturbance, guests may be asked to leave immediately.
The use of dock area and any water activities is at your own risk. Children under 13 are required to wear a lifejacket in dock area and lifejackets may not provided in all sizes.
We are on a septic system so please only flush toilet paper.
No cleaning fish inside the house.
You will have the whole house and dock. Occasionally we do share one slip at the dock with a friend. We do have a camera at the dock due to dock theft from boats on the water. We have Kayaks available for guest use Life jackets in the dock storage containers. Although we strive to we may not have jackets in every size.
We are on VERY deep water which is great for boats but it does mean that the walk is steep in places and a few stairs down to the dock. Not recommended for those with mobility issues.
Checkout procedures:
We don't believe in long check out cleaning lists as you pay a fee for that so we post them here to prevent surprises. The digital guidebook will have how to info for the workings of things in the house and also a copy of check out info.
Outside is not covered under cleaning fee so please secure kayaks and remove any trash from the dock and patio areas. Please be courteous to next guest and clean and cover the grill, griddle, and solo stove fire pit if used. We do keep firewood and propane for guest use so please shoot us message if we are getting low.
Bag all trash including both fridges food and carry to the outside cans. Please be respectful to the guest after you and try to use 2 cans. Pickup is Friday morning so all cans must be at the curb Thursday evening. You can also leave cans by the curb if that's easier since the driveway is steep.
Start the dishwasher.
If bringing your pet, please be sure to pick up pet waste.
Check to be sure you got all items.
Lastly, lock up and have safe travels home!
