So comfortable
This property is a lovely old house surrounded by a very large garden., so there is plenty of space to sit outside. My dog and I have stayed here twice due to visiting relatives. However it would be an excellent base to visit Lincoln and surrounding areas. There are also excellent dog walks from the property. My room, which is shown in the picture with the 4 poster, is very spacious and has a large bathroom with separate dressing area and is very clean.

Thank you for letting us stop at your house, we really enjoyed our stay. Everything was excellent, our dogs really enjoyed it as well 🤣 Was absolutely wonderful talking to you both over breakfast, which was really really nice, on the Sunday morning. Thank you again for letting us stop, next time we'll stop for longer 👍

Most enjoyable
A charming old rectory in the process of being updated. My room was very spacious with a huge en-suite and dressing area. All beautifully decorated in keeping with the age of the property but with modern facilities and a Smart TV. The four poster bed was very comfortable. Good internet connection. The hosts were charming and helpful and I will return when I next visit family in Gainsborough.

Lovely B&B with plenty of character
The size of the room, walk in dressing room and bathroom are typical of the period property - large! The Old Rectory is a lovely place to stay and the hosts were very welcoming to us and our two dogs. Lea is a lovely place and Lincoln isn't too far away. We were recommended a walk along the canal into Lincoln which we did with the dogs, it's a very dog friendly area! Breakfast was lovely and laid out in the paneled dinning room. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Highly recommend
On arrival we were greeted by Imogen and Terry the owners, they were the perfect hosts from the start, they showed us to our beautiful spacious room with a grand four poster bed which was ideal as we had two dogs with us and they also were catered for perfectly. (Very Dog Friendly) They also had a dog called Basil who became very friendly with one of dogs so we and they felt at home, the breakfast was something else very personal and spot on very continental but with a homely feel. Overall review is we will be staying there again 5 star accommodation with a modern and old style twist and full of charm and history very recommend.

Wonderful stay, wonderful hosts!
The room was huge and very tastefully decorated. The four poster was fabulous…..even the dogs loved it on their special blanket. Hosts provided a great continental breakfast which did us for the day and they gave us lots of tips about the area and nearby dog friendly places to eat. We loved our trip and loved meeting Terry and Imogen….lovely people. We were taken round to estate and saw the orchards at the back and heard about their plans for the property. We wish them well and would go back to stay with them definitely!

Fabulous room
The imposing house is an ongoing project for this lovely couple Terry and Imogen, and their gorgeous four legged friend Basil, they are a lovely family and great hosts who go out of there way to make sure their guests have what they need for their stay. We had a fantastic weekend and the room is beautiful, big space with a very comfortable 4 poster bed tea and coffee facilities, TV and internet and a large area for a dressing room lots of wardrobe space and a huge bathroom with a bath and a shower, also a nice continental breakfast. Such a friendly couple who told about some of the history of their home plus some of the future plans they have for it. We will certainly be returning to stay again, thank you both for a lovely stay. Warm & Welcoming
We had a wonderful, relaxing stay and the hosts, Imogen and Terry, were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. The house is a period property and our bedroom was huge, with an extremely comfortable four poster bed. There was a separate dressing room and an enormous en-suite. Breakfast was delicious - continental style, with a large selection of meats, cheeses, rolls, croissants and pastries. We would highly recommend staying at this property and were very sad to come home! Thank you for a wonderful time and love to Basil (their dog).
