We try to stay in Gallup at the Fairfield, but it was sold out. We booked Hampton only to learn the elevator was not working and everything was under construction. On our way out of town, we stopped at this Americaā€™s Best Inn, which is a touch stop. For the price, it was a no-brainer. The room was cleaner than the Fairfield or Hampton, the beds more comfortable, and all other aspects surpassed our expectations. To top all this, in the morning they provided a cooked to order breakfast which surpassed any regular breakfast elsewhere. I will stay here on my future, regular trips.

Property is not good. Lots of broken items in room including desk chair missing headrest and light over sink very noisy. Bathroom dim with rusty tub, towels very thin and old/scratchy. Trains blowing whistles all night. They donā€™t use keycards anymore so they have two door handles on every door, but none of them match and not in a cute way.
