Itā€™s a cheap hotel.
It was exactly that a cheap hotel. Their complimentary breakfast was really nothing. No protein provided, waffle maker, terrible coffee, bread, cerealā€¦.. The ā€œofficeā€ chair in the room had plastic bags wrapped around it, not sure why since it was a new chair. The walls are also super thin. Management was friendly and I can appreciate a small town not having staff to facilitate amenities.

The breakfast is good for the price of the hotel and it's cheaper than most other hotels in town. HOWEVER... They refused to refund the rest of my hotel stay after I checked out after a night because I had to return home early due to a family member's suicide attempt. This was after their drink machine ate the last of my available cash. Their "newly renovated" rooms are anything but. The bathtub was badly, badly chipped, the room was unpleasantly warm when I arrived and took forever to cool down, and that air conditioner might have been the noisiest one I've ever experienced in a hotel room. The door didn't properly lock because the door was mis-set in the frame and the backup swing-bar latch didn't stay over the ball and I kept having to reset it. The window seat pad was covered in badly flaking pleather material and I'm not sure why the chair at the desk was covered in a clear plastic bag. I'm hoping it wasn't bedbugs. When I was getting my stuff to bring in, I was approached by a homeless guy outside who kept licking his lips and staring at me and would not leave me alone. I used to like this hotel. And before they respond that expedia wouldn't let them do a refund, let me assure you that expedia contacted them about it twice and they refused.

We were booked for one night and had to extend our stay. Drew and his partner and other staff were exceptional with us. Nothing was too much trouble and they were lovely and genuinely friendly. The room was good too. We spend a lot of time on the road for pleasure and often the room are good but very often dark.. here it was bright and lots of good lighting, it brightens your mood just with that. Full marks for this hotel and staff. Thank you.

The check-in and check-out staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The fan/AC in the room was a little noisy, but not too much of a problem. For the cost, this was an excellent value.

More than meets the eye
Easy on and off Rte40. Super friendly staff. Care very much about your comfort. The building is older but the renovations they are doing and have done are super. All in all, a very comfortable and relaxing stay

Property is being upgraded. Microwave refrigerator coffee marker. Did not have hangers or closet, only 2 hooks. The WORST thing is the walls are thin - could hear both TVs and personal conversations through the walls. My neighbors were up later than I, so I could not sleep. This is a pet friendly hotel but with that level of neighbor noise it would upset any pet. Breakfast was toast, waffles, yogurt and cold cereal. I would not stay here again.
