Everything was great. The only thing i wasnt expecting was a lack of any air flow in the elevators. Other than that, the staff was great and friendly, the room was great, the breakfast provided was great.

Very nice hotel with great amenities. The included breakfast was very good and room service was above and beyond. Parking was across the street but there was never any traffic to create any walk ability concerns. The location was great and provided for easy access to the rest of the island. ā€œThe Spotā€ next door was incredibly convenient but did produce quite a bit of noise on our balcony as we were on the 6th floor directly above. I did have some concerns with disabled accessibility as I had requested this accommodation when booking but upon arrival realized the bathroom/shower had no grab bars. We made do as the view from the room was too good to pass on. Iā€™ll definitely be making reservations here again soon for my next excursion to Galveston.

View was great but balcony was dirty towels and trash. The original assigned room had a broken lock. After going to lobby for the third set of Key cards they assigned a new room. Loved location and view. Didn't receive proper instructions about parking had to go back to desk again to get those. But other than those items Hotel was nice.

I got to the hotel around 9:00 pm. I had called ahead of time to note that I would be arriving a little later. When I got there, they had given my room to someone else and no others were available in type of room I reserved. They then provided a room type that was about 25.00 cheaper than the one I had reserved and no they did not refund any of the prepaid amount. They told me I would have to work with the company I reserved the room with. I got to the room and it smelled like cat urine as soon as I opened the door. I did not go any further into the room. I turned around went back to the lobby. Told them the room had a foul odor, where I received multiple eye rolls and huffs like I was totally inconveniencing them. I am a part time travel agent and have never stayed at a hotel that when they made a mistake on my room that they didnā€™t provide a higher level too, shoot even when I wasnā€™t an agent, I was never treated that way. If it werenā€™t that it was already late and I was heading to the cruise terminal the next morning, I would have cancelled the room altogether. This is not a hotel that I will be providing as an option for my travel clients.
