Beautiful, idyllic retreat!

I hope to return to the wonder Sant'Lario! I really enjoyed the warm hospitality, the variety and quality of home cooking at breakfast, quaint and romantic setting, the enchanting walk to the pool through forest trees and past a field of sunflowers, the clean and spacious room, the location (an hour from Florence and close to beautiful villages such as Volterra and San Gimignano) and the luxurious touches that made the holiday for special e.g. Seating area overlooking Sant'Larrio vineyard and cosy night lighting. The owner was extremely friendly and spoke excellent English. She had good local knowledge and was very willing to help me with any queries. Me and my partner's time in Tuscany was very memorable and thanks for making our first visit so special.

Above and Beyond helpful

The owners were so helpful -we were on a walking holiday and so without transport and when I injured my ankle had to order a taxi for dinner in the town - they phoned around and then decided it was too expensive and lent us their car for the evening. The setting is simply fabulous and sipping white wine while the sun went down was a highlight of our holiday. I can't recommend Tenuta sant'ilario highly enough

Great location, room was not so good

Friendly staff. But the apartment was full of black mold in shower/bathroom. Floors were dusty and full of hair, bed sheets had stains of dried blood. Location was good though

Sehr schƶner und ruhiger Ort um richtig abzuschalten. Schƶner sauberer Pool mit ausreichend Liegen. Tolle Landschaft. Die Wohnungen bieten ausreichend Platz und sind sauber. Wir hatten einen Familienappartment mit zwei BƤdern und groƟen Wohnzimmer mit offener KĆ¼che. In der KĆ¼che waren alle notwendigen Utensilien vorhanden. Hinsichtlich Ausstattung gab es GeschirrspĆ¼ler, Waschmaschine, WƤschestƤnder und sogar ein Grill. Praktisch war auch die Sitzmƶglichkeit auf der Terasse, wo wir auch gerne gefrĆ¼hstĆ¼ckt oder gegessen haben. Einzig die MĆ¼cken sind lƤstig, so dass man sich immer mit MĆ¼ckenschutzcreme eincremen muss. Daher wƤren in einigen Fenstern Netze sehr hilfreich gewesen. Wie einige GƤste zuvor kommentiert haben, ist der letzte Abschnitt des Weges nicht gut ausgebaut aber ich habe es schlimmer erwartet. Der Abschnitt ist nicht lang, so dass es bei langsamer Fahrt auch nicht wesentlich lƤnger dauert. Das Restaurant war gut besucht und hat z.T. eine extravagante Auswahl. Viele Einheimische waren dort zum Speisen. Wir waren nur einen Abend dort essen. FĆ¼r die Kinder war es nicht so begeisternd. Herzlichen Dank auch an unsere Gastgeber, die sehr nett und freundlich waren. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĆ¼hlt und werden sicherlich wieder mal dort Urlaub machen.

Fantastisk!

Utrolig flott hotell og omgivelser. Kjempebra frokost med stort utvalg. Dobbeltrommet var stort og hadde egen sittegruppe. Fint basseng med utsikt mot vingƄrder. Kan absolutt anbefales!

SuverƤnt lite undanskymt hotell i Toscana. Rummet Ƥr mycket vackert och allt Ƥr tiptop rent. Mycket serviceminded personal. Restaurangen mycket bra ena kvƤllen DN andra tappade de fokus och han inte med, men maten mycket bra.
