This was a unique place and a little bit out of the way tucked behind in an alley. The apartment style cabin was nice and quiet. Food and shopping were a quick easy walk. We stayed here with our pet. I chose this place because they frequently have wildlife in the courtyard... we had a very curious female deer that was around frequently but never bothered anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at the River house. The room was open and clean and had all the essentials and then some. The kitchenette was well stocked and has a fridge, coffee bar, dishwasher and a two-burner countertop stove. The views are incredible and it was so nice to come back from the park and relax on the deck. Check-in was super easy! The River House is located about 10 minutes from Gardiner but still easily accessible to the park and town. Highly recommend! Thanks for having us!

We were visited by several deer, an elk and a rabbit. Really enjoyed that. The mattress in the separate bedroom was fine. However the mattress in the living room area was so broken down that in resulted in family members getting very little sleep. We got in late and left early. I felt like we should have got a partial refund but we never met anyone at the front desk as they were closed when we were there. Other than that it was dated but comfortable and clean.

This hotel was excellent. Spacious apartment with kitchen, two bedrooms and a lovely bathroom. Beautiful and comfortable furniture. Only drawback was weak and intermittent WiFi.

I was so very disappointed upon arrival. The property was advertised as a river side property with photos of bison on green grass and a gazebo and a fenced in sitting area. When I arrived, I was given the property next-door, which had no green grass and no sitting area and had no view of the gazebo or the river. It was a true bait and switch! There are bunk beds stuck in the living room, a bed thrown in the enclosed three season porch, it is truly a two bedroom but they made it sleep 8. Oh and it’s not a cabin. It’s a manufactured home.

Quiet stay near YNP NW entrance
Roomy, comfy stay in the small northwest gateway entrance to YNP in the small town of Gardiner. 10 minutes from Mammoth hot springs, a half hour to Lamar Valley. Stayed in the 2-bedroom deluxe apartment with kitchenette. Plenty of pots, pans and silverware, a drip coffee machine, and large fridge. Grocery store in walking distance.

The location was great only 5 min drive to the north entrance to Yellowstone park. The cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need as far as kitchen and room supplies go.

Communication with owner was fantastic and even walked over to our room and made sure everything was in order. You will likely see Elk or Caribou walking around the property but just enjoy and let them go about their business. Will absolutely stay here again if in the area.
