We enjoyed our stay at Glenstone Lodge. It was clean, affordable, and within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg. Staff were very nice and informative. Only thing that could be fixed are the soda machines. A couple didn't work. But overall a great stay!

The hotel was great. I stayed in room 104, my only complaint was that the plug on the wall to the refrigerator is damaged so the refrigerator would intermittently lose power even with No one touching it. We had about $70 in food go bad because of this

we were looking forward to our stay based on the website. while it was not terrible, there were cleanliness issues lacking. the elevator should be cleaned regularly-that was out first impression after checking in. wouldn't take more than 10 minutes. our room had some kind of red dust in the bathroom. that would have taken 30 seconds to take care of. only dark roast coffee in the room. would have been nice for some regular roast. no conditioner and only 2 tiny shampoos. we went and purchased our own. these may seem like small things but they made a difference and could have been easily avoided. we did love the pool and the pizza was good. beds were comfy also. just a few tweeks and we would have said excellent. little things count!

The hotel is older but in a great location. We could walk to nearby restaurants and the free trolly stopped right out front. The pools were fun and staff was friendly. The rooms were ok and bathroom is small but we enjoyed our stay overall.

We spent 3 nights at the Glenstone Lodge and loved it there! We had an exterior room on the first floor which was super convenient for getting out the door and off to spend the day doing things. We were able to park right outside our door which was awesome. The room was awesome. Clean, tidy, nice A/C, sink and mirror was outside the toilet/shower room which is nice for when more than one person is trying to get ready. The pools were fantastic and we could hardly keep the kids away from them. Water was clean and warm and we all had a blast swimming and winding down for the night. The restaurant was good as well. The pizza and some of the other baked options were delicious and the breakfast buffet was awesome. **HOT TIP** if you're thinking of getting the breakfast buffet one morning, go down to the restaurant and pre-pay for the next morning and save yourself $2 per person! It's a leisurely walk downhill right to all the Gatlinburg action...roughly 600m or so. Also, there's a public trolley system in town and the Red Line runs right past the hotel and stops at the foot of the uphill parking lot entrance so it's nice at the end of the day when you're tired to just hop on a trolley and have them drop you off practically at your doorstep. We really liked everything about the place and would definitely stay again. **ANOTHER HOT TIP** keep your eye out for bears! Our first night at Glenstone my son and I were by the pool and had one walk by at 50' and cross the lot!

The hotel looks a lot nicer online. It is very old and the hot tub had no working jets. Very noisy and also saw bugs a few bugs in the room. The beds were also very uncomfortable and water pressure in shower was not good. The refrigerator did not work well.
