This property was being renovated when I stayed there, so it was a bit of a mess. It may have been damaged by Helene but I left before the hurricane arrived, so I don't know for sure. Off season rate was cheap, and it's located right by the park entrance-- you don't have to fight the horrible Gatlinburg traffic. Bears wandered the property but didn't harm any people or pets.A reminder to please use bear-proof trash receptacles in and near the park!!

The dog park was convenient if you are traveling with a pet. We saw several black bears on and around the property. There appeared to be several extended stay guest at this particular property. The complete staff was excellent though.

This is a very cute hotel, newly remodeled. My room was better than expected. It is super close to all of the shops but far enough away that the noise was not an issue. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again

Clean rooms, friendly staff, they were remodeling some of the rooms while we there so it was a little noisy during the day.. some of the place around the hotel were ran down so it made it sketchy

When I went to the assigned room the door was open and the maintenance guy was sitting in the chair in the corner of the room watching tv and on his phone. I was switched to another room because he was in there working. Tv in the new room would stay on all of 2 seconds then turn off constantly. Informed the front desk and I was told maintenance would be by. I am checking out in a few hours and maintenance never came and still no working tv.

The staff were amazing and exceptionally friendly. The area of the motel was a bit sketchy and I didnā€™t feel safe at night to take my pet out. The pet area was very smelly and people didnā€™t clean up after their pets. There are renovations going on, our room was beautiful. The bed was uncomfortable, there was tissue stuff in/over the peep hole. No fault to the hotel but the people in the next room and a few rooms down stayed out in the walkway until 2:30am on their phone, talking, and yelling loudly both nights, and it echoed keeping us up most of the night. The parking lot was dirty and the parking is ridiculous. I do believe there were people living there, and seemed to be people hanging around that didnā€™t belong there making me feel unsure and unsafe. We checked out this morning and our sink didnā€™t drain, the jetted tub gurgled all night, and when we turned our keys in the office was full of many customers that their rooms had sewage back up in their rooms, ruining some of their personal items, and they could no longer stay in their rooms.

Clean, newly renovated rooms, parking was tight. Walking distance to Gatlinburg trail, we saw a bear almost every day for a week, several times in motel property. Dog friendly.
