Booked two rooms for my family, they had the better of the two rooms. Smahed bug on ceiling, head boards dust and visible hand prints from previous gueats. Mini fridge rusted, carpet not vacuumed. Ac united needed cleaned out smell came out of it with ac or heat.

The gentleman who checked me in was amazing 10/10 I was in room 270 and the AC didnā€™t really work but it was okay cause I left my back porch door open since I was on the 2nd floor. But this place is great the staff is super helpful and friendly and the location is amazing I will definitely be staying here again in the future

We love this place
Front desk was very nice and accommodating. We've stayed here many times and its one of the best in Gatlinburg. We love watching the bears from the rooms on the hill. Right downtown easy to get to anything inside Gatlinburg.

We had no hot water and requested a fix, came the next morning and fixed it but worked once and then took over 15 minutes to warm up and then was tepid. We had reserved a room for a pet but wasnā€™t shown when we checked in so they had to move us to a room that accommodates pets, the room had no artwork on the walls, no place to hang clothes, light in the shower did not work, but that helped cover up the unfinished paint. The bathroom door wouldnā€™t shut, it was a born door style, no toilet paper holder the shower leaked and soaked the floor and all of our towels! The location was great but that is all I would recommend

Convenient location, very outdated hotel
This hotel was in an extremely convenient location to the park. It was very outdated & could use updates to the bed, carpet, bathroom. Everything worked but very old. We also did not like the fact that the hotel was spread out over several buildings. We had to walk up/down a giant hill and walk a half block to the lobby/breakfast area.

We booked at the last minute. They had a room with a king bed available. We had another hotel booked but further away from our destination, so we looked this hotel up within the hour that we needed a room. They had one. Very friendly. Nice room.

PICTURES ARE DECEIVING! More like a motel 8!
Absolutely disgusting!!!! We checked in around 5:30pm and the first room we went into the beds were completely untouched from the previous guests. I understand that for the price and location it won't be the most updated place, but you can at least change the sheets before we arrive! The pictures on the web do not do justice at all!!! The building literally looked like it was falling apart, and the bathrooms were so dirty it's like they don't clean at all. We asked to get a room change and they gave us another room that the beds were made but the bathroom and everything else you could tell were still very dirty. The doorknob was loose, I was so afraid someone was going to be able to break in. They included "free breakfast" we decided not to eat there since the whole thing was disgusting. We weren't the only ones with this issue they were another family that seemed to have the same issue I saw them go in one room right after we arrived and switched to the other building in front a couple of minutes later. Here are the pictures of the room we walked into. Didn't even get a discount or refund at all just an "oh I'm sorry about that". We paid over $350 ONE night Thursday-Friday October 10-11. No holidays or weekend stay. (we paid extra because we had two small yorkies) And they told us they couldn't give us a better room then that because of the animals. I understand all that but sheesh at least give me something that is upkept. Wall to ceiling was dirty!!! Unbelievable!

Our stay was just fine. The hotel is older,but in a wonderful location. It would be crazy to complain, because of the price. We enjoyed having a jacuzzi in our room. That turned out to be a bonus,and they are pet friendly. The staff were the best part. They were all helpful and happy to help with anything.

Staff was ok, building is really in need of renovation. Just an old hotel, near downtown, but several feet higher in elevation, long steep hill to climb to get back to building, not recommended for elderly, decent but lacking
