PROS- You canā€™t beat this place for convenience. Itā€™s a quick walk to the main drag shopping and restaurants. No need to pay $10-$20 to park downtown because youā€™re practically right there. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were comfortable and had clean linens. My room had a balcony that overlooked the river and those rooms are all spacious. CONS- This place is very dated and worn. Considering what a great location they have, some updates would make this a pretty sweet hotel. My room had a lot of stains on the carpet, cigarette burns on old curtains and although clean, the bathroom was smaller and kinda dreary. If you are focused on convenience to the downtown Gatlinburg area and also the park entrance, then this place serves that purpose well.

I opted for the river view room and paid more for it but It does not look like the picture and is very dated. The staff at checkin were very pleasant, the lobby is nice if not a little quaint, but I'm cool with that. The river view room is in an old motel building, probably built around the 60's if I had to guess. The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were great as well. If you dont care about staying in an old room with a very outdated bathroom and just need a convenient clean place to lay your head then this is a great spot for you. I would stay here again.

The rooms were filthy, door was hard to open & close. Black mold in ceiling tiles, stink bugs all over room, spider webs with live spiders in the room. We left within 30 mins of checking in. Went to the Hilton down the road.

The main door was very very hard to shut. You had to slam your whole body against it to get it to shut. There was multiple times I thought it was shut then it would randomly pop open, while it was also ā€œlockedā€. Other than the door issue everything else was as expected.
