The staff at the hotel are super helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located and has access to high end shopping etc. But this is not your traditional hotel… if you’ve stayed in Arlo in New York you will know that the rooms are super compact and you barely have any room to move around. It has a modern hip vibe but it’s more like a “pod” than a place to relax and spread out. Ok for solo travelers with very little luggage.

Amazing location and very helpful staff. The rooms are small but with great efficient design. If you need a dark room to sleep, the black out curtains make the room DARK. The lobby is a bright and happy place and all the staff speak great English and are welcoming and helpful. There is self check in but there is someone to help with that as well. You are located right in the middle of everything, a few steps from old town and a block or two from the water. We loved our stay.

Great location - lack of facilities and difficult bed position where your sleeping partner had to crawl over the top of you to get to the bathroom was not ideal. The lack of no tea or coffee making facilities in your room is also not great when you like a drink at bedtime or when you wake up. Also the experience of obtaining the room and keys for the room did not go smoothly for us and wasn’t appreciated after a long and late journey.

Fairly easy to get from airport/train station to the hotel. A little hilly walk but not at all difficult. Very modern style room - small but functionally laid out. Usually all we want in a hotel is clean, a comfortable bed and a nice shower. CitizenM checked all the boxes. Very good breakfast with many options. We would stay again.
