The stay was alright although I wasn't offered the VIP service. Nothing spectacular aside from the beach and wet park for kids. There are AC charging facilities at the hotel but have no instructions how to operate it and checking online for those that had used it before states that the its pretty difficult to operate it using a non common app plus the fees is super pricey (not recommended to use)

The hotel is in a convenient position as close by there are many food options for you to choose from. Pool area was very nice and plenty of shaded seating around the pool. Breakfast was one of the best with many different food options available was truly top notch!! The only annoying thing was we did not have a verandah and faced the main street which we did not mind but were woken up every morning by the mosque at around 5-6 and the prayer was loud and went on for around an hour and we were on the top floor. So if you are a light sleeper get yourself a verandah and you'll be facing the pool and most probably not woken up early in the morning

Great hotel if maybe a little dated, but everything is super clean and you can’t beat the views! For a solo business traveler it’s probably not the first choice, but for holiday or traveling with family it was a delight.

Lovely staff members but definitely a dated hotel. Bathroom had what looked like water or mould stains in the upper corners and during a shower, the bathtub didn't drain fast enough compared to the water pressure which meant you were in a puddle while showering. The Pool and childrens play area was great but the beach portion was not good, alot of litter left on the sand and debris was floating in with a mix of natural and man-made sand, the fabric holding the man-made sand had not been removed which made this beach area look even worse. Good breakfast options and even a childrens corner buffet section.

First time staying at the property and the experience was dismal. For a hotel under the Shangri-La umbrella the service was very disappointing. Rooms were dusty and dated (my kids were sneezing from the dust all the time). Hotel services were bad, food orders were always wrong, always overcharging despite having membership and the staff were barely helpful. In the 4/5 days we stayed there we only came across 2 friendly and helpful staff. Only nice thing about the hotel is the pool area and the access to the beach. It’s a pitty as the hotel has so much potential to be one of the best but unfortunately it will not be my in my list of options for my next visit.

The room was not as advertised and was not suitable for getting restful sleep. We were placed on the 2nd floor with a large diesel generator underneath our window. The window could not be opened but was not sealed shut properly, allowing the generator noise into the room. Towards the evening the smell of paint thinner entered our room and became progressively worse. On informing reception of these issues and requesting another room, we were told that the generator was to supplement the hotel's electricity supply due to it being an old building, and that management had decided to apply wood varnish to the surrounding areas and we could expect the smell to enter the rooms through the air conditioning. No solution was offered other than to check again the following morning for a room change, as no other rooms were available that evening. Based on this we checked out and stayed at an alternative hotel. We were not at all satisfied with the high noise level and the disregard for the health of guests inhaling varnish fumes.

I booked a room thinking that I would have breakfast provided as I paid 100ringgit more than the hotel’s quote for the same room type. But I was told that breakfast was not included on checking in. Secondly, though I am a regular user of hotels.com, I was made to wait for hours from 11.am to 2pm to get our rooms. My family was split between two floors. Very disappointed.

The facilities are a little old but overall very clean and comfortable. The only shortcoming is there are quite some crows near the pool & sun deck area. The birds are pretty aggressive in picking at food if left unattended. The bird poo is also on the beach chairs and there is a risk of being “hit” by the poo if you are laying down on the beach chairs.

Amazing hotel with the friendliest staff. So beautiful, lots of things to do on the resort itself. We enjoyed massages, parasailing, and swimming. Also great if you have kids and babies, our wee one loved it. We woke up to monkeys on our balcony and that was such a fun experience. You can also enjoy the harmless monitor lizards roaming around the resort. Lastly, the food and service is incredibly cheap and great quality. Highly recommend the Sigis bar and restaurant on the property. Will definitely come back.
