Only steps away from Lake Murray, The Fish Tale Cottage brings you relaxation and comfort! Enjoy the peaceful cove waters with kayaks (3 provided), swimming, paddle boarding, jet ski & boat rentals (all available at South Shore Marina 0.5 mi away!

Enter through the first floor with keyless entry. Both bedrooms and the full bathroom are on the first floor. Take the staircase to the second floor to find a cozy living & dining space, half bath, fully equipped kitchen with single serve Keurig, & a wrap around porch to sit and enjoy coffee, food, or good conversation with a partial lake view!

Queen Bed in front bedroom. 2 sets of twin bunk beds in the back bedroom. Pack & Play available upon request.

WiFi available. Smart TV in living space with access to Netflix, Hulu, & other streaming networks provided you have your own personal account/login. Cable & DVD player provided otherwise. Home Hub equipped.

The Fish Tale Cottage backs up to a wooded area. It is normal to see some wildlife, spiders, beetles, frogs, etc in outdoor spaces.

The most relaxing getaway!
We loved our stay and will be returning here again! Our three children loved the bunk room and we loved having our own kitchen. We visited family nearby and loved how close we were. Super clean and wonderfully decorated. :)

The perfect spot
From start to finish, everything was so smooth and easy. The owners are so attentive and make it such a personal & special stay. Starting with a hand written note and special snacks welcoming us to a gorgeous, clean and comfortable place to stay while visiting family. We can’t say enough about the accommodations. Dan and Megan go above and beyond to make sure there is not one thing you might need while you were there. We cannot wait to visit again and and make staying in the cabin our new tradition!

Great cottage
Great cottage. Clean, organized and the owners communicate well. It was a nice quiet neighborhood with access to the lake. Cabin had everything I needed for a longer than normal stay. I would recommend to anyone.

Absolutely perfect!
This cabin was amazing from start to finish. The communication was top notch and we never had to question a thing. I was in awe of the cleanliness and decor. I need them to come decorate my own home. Haha. The space was perfect and so welcoming. We spent the day in the cove at the lake and it was very quiet and inviting. We ran into a few neighbors who were very friendly. My husband and I are already planning a trip back by ourselves. Couldn’t have asked for anything else. Don’t worry about over packing because they have what you need.

The cottage was super clean and adorable. The hosts were very attentive and even left a handwritten note with a basket of snacks for us. The cottage is well “stocked” with everything a guest would need, and it is very comfortable. We plan to return at some point. This was one of the best experiences we have had concerning rentals. We had to extend our stay quite a few times thanks to things going awry with our own personal house. We appreciated the kindness and understanding shown to us by the owners. Wonderful Cabin in Cute Lake Neighborhood
This rental is top notch and in fact we have been so happy with our stay that we extended our stay. The owners left a basket with all sorts of welcoming goodies. The house is immaculate and the neighborhood is safe and accommodating. The owners have wonderful communication and are very thoughtful and understanding.

Family time!
We had a great mini vacation here. We picked the place as it was close to a wedding venue we were coming to Columbia to attend. We didn’t get a chance to really enjoy the lake due to the weather but the home had all we needed for a place to shelter during the hurricane! The place was neat and clean and had several board games we enjoyed playing with the kids! The hosts were more than accommodating when we needed to arrive a day early due to the weather. Would stay here again!!
