I liked this resort! Under ten minute walk to the harbour. Cute eclectic/funky decor. Cool outdoor bath/shower. Great pool/lounge area. Friendly staff. Our included breakfast portions were very small and took about an hour to arrive would be my only negative.

Magical.... truley magical.
Staff lovely, food is good and they have excellent coffee. Live music on fri and Saturday was unreal. Rooms comfortable, water hot, what else cab you ask for???? It's just pure magic!

Meh - ok but not great value for money
Like other reviews have said, this place is pretty dated and doesn't have that Bali-designed vibe that newer places on the island do. It was clean and the room was huge but I wouldn't bother staying here again. They charge 50k a day for bikes rather than 25k at other places, when really they should be free given the cost of the room. WiFi worked as well it does anywhere else on the island.

It was really basic, not as unique looking as the pictures made it out to be. A/C didn't work great but it was better than nothing. Breakfast was really basic. Not great value for the price we paid, but it was a place to stay.

The whole resort has a chilled feeling with lots of cool buildings and facilities. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and we loved having a private enclosed front garden and a half-outdoors bathroom out the back. The pool is very good with varied depths. What stands out is the staff’s manners, attention to detail and helpfulness; they were all lovely! We enjoyed our breakfasts in the morning and the bar itself was nice, especially having a dedicated beachfront area for eating and relaxing on loungers.

Nice comfortable hang
Nice hang, especially the pool. Location on the beach is nice as well. Decent restaurant, esp bfast included. Room were a tad outdated, but very comfortable anyway. Take a horsecart from the dock if you have luggage- it's a bit of a walk dragging/carrying bags. Great helpful staff!

Stayed at this hotel while spending 3 days at Gili Air. It's an eco friendly hotel with comfortable rooms, friendlt staff and a calm atmosphere. The room was clean, with an outdoor private bathroom (which was actually fun) and decent air con. Would definitely stay here again

Location was good; not too far of a walk to go snorkeling. We had a garden suite; they have concrete floors. Shower was outside but is in a covered area. Bikes are not in particularly in good condition.

The room we stayed in was nice but dated, the staff was polite and helping. The bathroom is in the open which is no issue during the day time but at night time there were some mosquitoes. They definitely need to work a more on cleanliness, the towels looked dirty and stained as if some one else had used it and the hotel staff just dried it, sprayed it with some perfume and put it back. Every single bath towel we got was dirty and one of it had a long woman’s hair stuck to it. The toilet was also probably leaking as there was a smell of piss every time we went near it and another issue was the little slope under the shower which I believe was created with the intention of letting the water drained but it’s hazardous, my wife mistakenly stepped on that slope while taking a shower and fell as it was slippery, it’s hard to avoid so be very cautious around it. Bed was comfortable but the breakfast need some more options, especially for vegetarians. Location is good as it’s 10 minutes walk to the harbour and quite some place to eat around.

Disappointed to what expected
We had a double room with garden view - garden view is your own small walled courtyard which means the room is set back off that. It was really dark in there & the air con wasn’t amazing. Bed is comfy. The pictures make the place look way more fancier than it is. The grounds aren’t anything special, the pools ok. The breakfast & restaurant are really good. The hotel is also right outside a great snorkelling spot. The shower was cold!! This side of the island has a lot more restaurants & shops so great for that & you can easily get a bike & pedal round the island (except where sand is too soft on the path & you do end up pushing the bike)
