We had booked a superior double room but were given room 718 which did not have a walk-in shower. It appeared to be a disabled room with a high toilet and a tiny wash basin. The bed was smaller and lower than standard too. We were quickly moved to another room which was fine for us. The location is very good during the day with many shops and the subway nearby but later it is rather rowdy with pubs and clubs. There were 2 security guards in the hotel lobby when we got back quite late on Saturday. It was rather worrying that this was considered necessary. Other than that we had a pleasant stay. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good.

The location was really ideal and the main hotel area was stylish and comfortable. Our room looked stylish from a distance but in reality there were flaws - paint peeling off wall in bathroom and hairs still around the toilet as well as the room beinf very cold even with the heating on. Our room was also very noisy with what sounded like pipework and it woke me up quite a lot. We also had one of the hotel staff knock and immediately come into our room without permission at around 4pm (he asked if we needed any towels). It was an okay stay but for £135 per night i would have hoped for a better experience

We stayed at the Leonardo Glasgow across the weekend of 22nd -24th Nov as my partner and I got married in Glasgow on 23rd Nov. The hotel was simply perfect, a great stay for family and friends who were up from London. My husband and I also stayed and got ready at the hotel before our big day. Nothing was too much for staff, they accommodated requests of my makeup artist and the rooms were spacious, comfortable and spotless. Would highly recommend the Leonardo due to its quality of service, location, lovely rooms and wonderful staff. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
