This is a nature lover’s dream vacation home. In the heart of the Shenandoah Valley enjoy views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the back porch and the Allegheny Mountains from the front porch! This 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath mid-century home has had extensive renovations to include all the modern comforts you’ve come to expect in a vacation home. 10 minutes to grocery shopping or Natural Bridge. 15 minutes to historic Lexington and W&L and VMI universities. Great hiking trails and rivers nearby too! Home is equipped with electrical and septic hookup and a driveway big enough for an RV.

We welcome your four legged canine friends to Firefly Inn but we ask that they remain outside so as to avoid allergy issues with future guests. There is a pavilion to provide shelter from inclement weather. There are acres of fenced in yard for them to play and explore but Firefly Inn is not responsible for any injured pets or ones that may escape from the yard.

Perfect Location
This home is located within miles of everything we wanted to visit. It is 15 minutes to Lexington where everything you need is located such as restaurants and grocery stores. The home was very charming and had unexpected views in the front and back. The Hosts were amazing checking in before, during and after our stay. I will definitely recommend this home to anyone that will be planning a trip to Natural Bridge.

Awesome location!
We stayed here while in town for a wedding and it was perfect for our stay! We had coffee and breakfast on the back deck and enjoyed the views. There is a ton of good hiking near by and close to downtown Lexington.

We had a wonderful stay at Firefly Inn this past weekend. The location was beautiful even in winter, I imagine fall would have spectacular views from both sides of the house. It was very clean and tidy. The host provided all that was needed and responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

We arrived at the property and the house smelled like marijuana and all of the windows were open to air it out. It was 85 degrees in the house. I turned the air conditioner on and it did not work. I contacted the host and a repairman came out 3 hrs later. It took a total of 15 hours for the unit to cool the house down to 70 degrees. The cleanliness of the bathrooms were terrible. Soap scum and mold was all over both tubs. The mats in the bottom of the tubs were supposed to be white but were black from the dirt. The tile in the master shower looked like a kid installed them. Cracks everywhere and the tile floor had several cracks in it. The master bath door would wedge itself out on the wood flooring and did not operate properly. They had cut a hole.in the drywall.so the track of the door would fit. None of the doors in the house shut properly. So much caulking was used throughout the home to try and hide all of the flaws. The floor in the hallway had severe water damage and it felt like i was climbing a mountain to get out of the master bedroom. When taking a shower i had the water turned all of the way to hot and the water was barely luke warm. I would not recommend anyone to stay there.

Great house!
We had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend at The Firefly Inn! The house was even better than expected & we all fought over the amazing massage chair in the living room!! The hosts went above and beyond to make it a great vacation. They were so nice & easy to communicate with! Will definitely come back :)

House is cute and cozy, the view from the back porch is fantastic, sitting out with a cup of coffee and watching the sunrise and sunset was very relaxing. Overall a great experience. Would definitely recommend this as a place stay.

Great little place to stay for a weekend getaway to Natural Bridge. Location was convenient to the park, cavern, Lexington and all other attractions. Owner was super responsive. Beautiful views of the mountains from the back yard. House was cute and clean.

Perfect place for us
Perfect place to call home base during the VHSA Championship at the Horse Center! We loved that there were 2.5 bathrooms plus a sleeper sofa. The backyard and the view from the back porch were amazing. And that massage chair was well used by all of us after a long day of horse showing! Thank you! We would love to stay again.

What a wonderful older house with fantastic views.
This past month has not been a great one for me. Among other things I lost my best friend of 50 years. Spending time here was so peaceful and tranquil. Just what my soul needed. We had four adults and the entire stay was wonderful. We wanted for nothing while we were there. We visited Virginia Safari Park and Natural Bridge State Park. Both places were fantastic. We also drove the Historic Hwy 11 to Lexington VA. I wish we would have had a longer stay but the house was booked and I can see why. Thank you for opening your home up to us and thank you for the card you left. It warmed my heart.

An Absolute Gem!
The Firefly Inn is an absolute gem!!! The view in the backyard is breathtaking. The interior has been updated to have a modern homey feel. The owners have thought of basically everything. They labeled where everything is, the wifi was fantastic, the massage chair was amazing, the beds were comfortable and the bidet were quite a surprise!!! The kitchen has everything you need (we fed a college soccer team out of the kitchen). The backyard is huge and is a great site for get togethers, parties, etc…. All three bedrooms are fantastic and there are 3 bathrooms as well. If you need to be inside the owners have provided several streaming services for you. I mean it when I say they thought of almost everything. I would not hesitate to recommend the Firefly Inn to anyone!
