Find relaxation and fantastic beach access during your next Oregon Coast escape at this oceanfront home with a fenced backyard. Ideally situated only four homes from a beach access point, this property boasts sweeping coastal views and spectacular sunsets over the water. You'll find everything you need for a great getaway, including a streaming-capable TV, a gaming system, and a cozy gas fireplace. Outside, you'll have a private hot tub and a firepit - a lovely place to gather with your group, enjoy some s'mores, and tell funny stories as you take in the breathtaking views.

The beach, which tends to be uncrowded, is an excellent spot to hunt for agates or fly a kite. Salishan Resort is a short drive away toward Lincoln City, where you can enjoy a day at the spa or fit in a round of golf. Continue to Lincoln City for year-round crabbing and clamming. Fogarty Creek State Recreation Area is a short drive in the other direction toward Depoe Bay, where you can picnic, play on the beach, and search for tide pools in the rocks. Depoe Bay is a bit farther down the road, home to the world's smallest harbor and a great place to whale watch.

Great Location; perfect for families
Overall, I was happy with the value for the rental given the location and the number of bedrooms/beds for 4 adults and three children. The bunkbeds were ideal to accommodate the children in one bedroom. There is a number of issues that need to be addressed to raise the overall rating to 5-stars. Maintenance issues outstanding: 1. Ceiling fan in front bedroom rubs the ceiling and is effectively inoperative. 2. Slider in the front bedroom difficult to close and has no screen. 3. None of the windows in the living room have a screen. 4. The refrigerator leaks water on the floor. 5. The microwave above the stove is broken. While there is a smaller replacement countertop microwave, with primary microwave broken there is no fan or light for the stove. 6. Bath/shower drain in back bathroom slow/backups a bit. 7. The PlayStation in the bunkbed room was a nice touch (retro), however the controllers do not seem to work.

Peaceful beach retreat
This property is exactly as all the past reviews have noted. The house is located a short easy walk to the beach. The rooms are adequate and beds were ok. As have many other reviews of this property for the past several years, the place is not clean. The fan blades were crusted with dirt, and the bathrooms had mold and really dirty floors. And the shades in the living room still haven’t been fixed. I’d stay there again if it could be cleaned better and it makes me wonder where those high cleaning fees went, not maintenance for sure. The yard needed mowing as well.

The listing says cable TV, there is not. There is also an Amazon fire stick that has no memory on it to watch anything. Property is great to sit in the hot tub and watch the waves and the fire pit is great to make memories with the kids while making smores. Great proximity to beach access, just 4 or so houses down. Board games are minimal.

The code to get in was wrong, so we had to call to get the correct one. Once inside though, the place was impressive. Clean with everything we needed and a wonderful view of the ocean. Our stay was short but enjoyable.

Great location and so close to the beach! The house needs some deep cleaning (baseboards and ceilings) but was very comfortable and had a fully fenced backyard! We would definitely go back again and recommend it to anyone!

Smelly and broken
A month before our stay I reached out to the property management company regarding complaints from past visitors and was assured that the things in these complaints had been handled. Upon check in we could see that the blinds clearly had not been fixed. The fridge also had issues of its own. The back bedrooms smelled like wet dog and dog pee. I think they had just attempted to clean the carpet or something because I walked across it barefoot and when I hit the hallway where there isn't any carpet the bottoms of my feet were wet and felt sticky as I walked. I had to clean up dog poop from the back yard just so we could get across to look at the beach without stepping in it. There was mold in all of the windows and crusty, dirty laundry under one of the beds I informed them of the issues within a few hours of arriving and was told they would get someone out to take care of things as soon as possible but then I 1never heard anything else. We ended up going to the store anyway to purchase items to clean the mold up as much as we could. My mother-in-law, who is terminally ill, was traveling with us. This trip was really for her to spend time with her family and be comfortable at the coast (her favorite place to be), which is why I asked about all of the issues in advance. I really did not appreciate being lied to when I brought up my concerns to customer service in advance and then ghosted when we got there and I brought things to their attention again. The house is cute and the location was good (it is a short walk to get down to the beach), but the property management team isn't taking care of it or it's guests.

Great location!
Great location but house was not that clean. Hot tub was absolutely gross and I couldn’t use. The middle blinds we broken so that cut into the view tremendously. Rugs needed a deep clean but the rest of house was fairly clean. Linens and bed were good.

Wonderful views and just four houses from beach access.
We enjoyed our stay here and would return if we have family members joining us. Everything we needed was provided. We enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor seating. Bedrooms and baths were perfect for our needs. I would highly recommend this property!

Nice house with great beach location
Fully stocked kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Overall house was clean. Venetian blinds on all windows in living room were broken and unable to be adjusted. Several guests before our stay made the same comments. Manager said they were fixed and they were not. Refrigerator inside door stripping is falling off , thus is does not close easily. Ice maker is not operable. We bought a bag of ice. Sliding glass door was dirty and unable to see out of it. We bought cleaning materials and cleaned it. Yard was fenced but not completely, so keeping a dog in the yard is not possible unless on a leash. This was not clearly stated on property description. No volume control on any of the 3 remote controls. Eric stopped by to sync a universal remote control. Called or texted manager daily about these items.

Very peaceful and fun spot for family of 5
This was a very relaxing stay with plenty to keep the kids happy while the adults relaxed. Our kids moved back and forth between the ocean and the hot tub while our dog was free to run on the beach or hang out in the fenced yard. We were very happy with our stay! Note: the beach access is a few houses down the street—very close but not right from the yard.

Everything was more beat up than we expected. Especially annoying: broken Venetian blinds and sliding door. Not fun taking 5 year old triplets to the beach via walking in the road -- probably won't stay here again because of that. Photo in listing made it look like we could access beach directly. Backyard fencing too iffy to let kids play outside. Not sure we got 7 towels for the 7 of us. Info about how to work cooling/heating system would have been nice. Even with instructions, we gave up on getting TV to work. However, kitchen and bathrooms were clean. Shower was great. Enjoyed games in closet. Wifi iffy -- as expected -- so not a big deal. Nearby grocery store and no stairs into house were pluses. And the fabulous sunset view!

The proximity to the beach was great but for the price I paid I was expecting the house to be a bit nicer. The house could use a deep clean but over all the inside was clean enough. My main complaint is that the blinds were broken and we had to hang towels in order to keep the sun out of our faces in the evening. The hot tub was nice but it definitely needs some attention as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay. I did receive a text from the owner and I shared some of my concerns so I’m sure the blinds will be fixed soon.

Avoid staying here.
If you are considering this property, note that it is not managed by VRBO but Vacasa. When we arrived we loved the view of the ocean and the overall cleanliness of the house. The outside space however was not good. The grass was almost 8"-10" long with weeds growing up the fence. There is a 6"-8" step down from the outside patio which was disguised by the long grass. I contacted Vacasa and asked that they mow fearing a tripping hazard. They never responded to my inquiry. Everything is automated with Vacasa so you never get to talk to a person. Long story short, one of our older guests tripped as I feared falling on his face, breaking his glasses, and cutting up his face. We would not stay here again.

Great view and easy access to the beach ! The house was a little rundown couple things broken compared to the pics !! And it smelled funny but with some open windows we took care of that! The cupboards smell terrible .. The beds were decent and all slept good .. Hot Tub is a bonus when it’s cold and rainy we ended up having to find a dog sitter last min because I didn’t read that it had to be a small dog . But over alll the beach is always fun and it all worked out !!
