About this property

The Prospector Wall Tent at Stump Creek B&B

Come enjoy a stay at our comfortable Alaska made wall tent approximately 50 miles west of Glennallen and 100 miles east of Palmer. Experience the beauty of Alaska as our grandparents did when they first homesteaded here in the 60s. Pappy and grandma came north and built their homestead on this very location while mining, raising kids, running a general store, cabins, and a campground. We are honored to continue their legacy here.
The Prospector is our comfortable 11'x12' wall tent outfitted with two extra long twin beds, mosquito netting, propane heating stove, and solar powered lights for when that midnight sun finally rests. There is no electricity to the tent site but there is a charging station available if needed. We provide a water jug at your site for your convenience and will have breakfast items included in the onsite cooler.
There are multiple shared outhouses available on site as well as a single shower house with running water and towels provided for our guests. The shower house is unavailable late fall through early spring.

Family overnight that didn’t happen
The hosts have done an amazing job making it a beautiful glamping destination. However the tent layout made it feel unsafe for my kids to be in one tent with us in the other - too far apart. We ended up continuing on down the road & didn’t up staying after all.
