Everything is just a little bit hard, bit more communication and a tonne more signage would go a long way. Parking a nightmare finding way to reception a nightmare, finding way out to walk to the shops a nightmare . Lifts can't keep up with demand long wait times every time. Nice pool area and BBQ area.

The property itself was excellent. But the whole Star Casino property let it down, therefore an overall lower rating. Property presented well, but required a few maintenance issues needing attending to. Not a deal breaker. View was spectacular. But, trying to park and navigate my way back to the building was a minefield. Signage in Car Park requires upgrading. Restaurant and Bar options at Star Casino were poor. Most were closed. Could not get breakfast at the casino unless you wanted toasted sandwiches and bagels. Everything else closed. For a 24 hour business this was appalling and surprising.

I was on a week long trip of the Australian east coast between Byron Bay and the Fraser Coast and this was by far the nicest place I stayed in the whole trip. I can't wait to go back. I actually felt like I was right at home. I looked up the cost to rent permanently hahaha. The location is amazing, the access was super easy and the room was stunning. Will be staying again.

Great view, friendly staff great bars and food at your doorstep Unfortunately for us we found the lack of blackout curtains to be very problematic. The bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. The tv in the living room did not work. Maintenance was very professional and tried to fix the issues but couldn’t.

Have stayed at The Star Residences several times previously and enjoyed our stay, however, this time the Cloths dryer would not close, I had to ring reception twice and ask for it to be fixed before it was fixed and I could use it. The Mattress on the bed was so uncomfortable I ended up with a very painful back. I needed to sleep on the lounge the second night. Pillows also were very hard. One pillow was so bulky it did not fit into the pillowcase.- so unhygienic. Hopefully we get a different Unit next time we stay.

We loved our stay. The room was great, close to our Convention. Dining downstairs was excellent and convenient. We will return for sure. The only issue was wifi was often very poor in our apartment. Everything else was perfect.
