Brook Road Cabin

Brook Road Cabin is part of the historic Brook Road Inn. A beautiful, rustic, craftsman style cabin just 8 minutes from Mount Sunapee Resort. We offer two bedrooms a living room and full size kitchen and dining area. During the warm season enjoy the deck, equipped with grill. Don't feel like cooking? Many local restaurants just minutes from the cabin. Goshen, NH has lots to do; any season, you will find your recreation here. Walking distance to Rand Pond for great swimming and fishing.
You will have the entire cabin, a fully furnished kitchen, deck with grill. If you use the kitchen and amenities you will be expected to clean up and wash dishes used, failure to do so will result in additional cleaning fee's. Only Verizon has cell phone service in this area, however there is a land line phone at the Brook Road Inn, 100 feet away, for guest use in case of emergency. You may need to turn you phone off for 10 minutes and turn it back on in order to improve your signal strength.

Very nice place.
Very clean and comfortable with all amenities provided. If I had 1 complaint it would be the bedding consisted of a light sheet topped by a heavy comforter. I would have liked a blanket and also an additional pillow.

Great ski weekend
The house was great, it had all the comforts of home. The location was great for skiing at Mt Sunapee. The host reached out on day one to make sure we had everything we needed and was responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay there again!

Clean property, close to Sunapee, 5 star property manager!
Kayla, the property manager, accommodated a last minute change of dates with no extra charge. Heat was broken in original rental so she put us in a similar rental that was very clean. TV had a roku so we could stream all of the Sunday NFL games after a day of skiing at Sunapee, which is about 5-10 minutes down the road. We had a perfect overnight stay! If you’re looking for a cheap, clean, well managed convenient condo/townhouse this one checks all of the boxes! Salt Hill Pub and Ziggys Pizza are very close and also highly recommend!

We were in the Newport area for a graduation and this property was perftec for what we needed. Although the outside needs a little work, the inside was recently upgraded, very clean with a great floor plan. Would rent this again.

Exactly what the doctor ordered
Besides my initial frustration with the booking firm wanting both my credit card/money and a photo of the front and back of my drivers license, I would recommend. I look for quaint surroundings (an inside that is charming and the outside inviting), comfortable and clean furniture (furniture that beckons you to sit down, take your shoes off and relax), a bed you cant wait to get into at night and not quickly get out of in the am. I think lighting is critical, ambience is everything from meal prep, lounging, reading a book, etc. This cabin/cottage provided all the above. My only complaint or actually a disappointment was the non-working fireplace. It was one of the many things I liked about this property. The property manager was readily available to address our request to turn on the fireplace (we weren't successful) , but was honest in saying due to safety reasons it's not something to look forward to. Myself and my sister in law were able to check in a few hours early and check out a few hours late at the property managers generosity and ability to accommodate with prior guests, cleaning staff, etc. We will be back, might even stay longer as the majority if our time was spent chatting and just leisurely walking a trail on the property and a adjacent road that parallels Rand Pond. We give it a 8-9/10.
