Good location friendly staff but not ideal
Good location, clean with an average hotel breakfast. However the twin room we had was small and looked nothing like the pictures. There wasnā€™t much space to navigate round the bottom of the beds. There was building work going on next door which started at 7 in the morning, so check this before you travel. Asked for a different twin room but they didnā€™t have another one.

A pleasant medium size hotel with very helpful staff, a comfortable room and great breakfast. We stayed over a weekend and our room overlooked Kyrkogatan which was noisy (people and commercial vehicles) for our taste.

Highly recommended - be aware there is no elevator
Located in the heart of Gothenburg, within easy walking distance from the railway station and the main tourist area. The hotel is nicely decorated and laid out, but be aware that there is no elevator if this is an issue. The room was clean and quite spacious. The supplied breakfast was more than adequate. The lady on the front desk on Friday, when we arrived, was incredibly friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations etc, but over the weekend she was replaced with people who were rather disinterested in being there. Overall we would highly recomend.

The hotel is very pleasant and comfortable, with clean and inviting public sitting areas. Breakfast is excellent, staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel location is excellent. The hotel has no elevator.

Very bad experience as there is No lift, no help in moving luggage - Got 2nd floor with my luggage No mention that no lift is available Horrible spiral staircase people can injure Horrendous construction activities happening from very early in the morning with huge hammers and knocking sounds - unbearable for small baby Good location of hotel All in all , I will go anywhere in City center but never again to this hotel Vanilla , EVER !!!

This is my third stay and every time it has been so comfortable and beautifully light - I love the beds and courtyard for breakfast. The staff are always warm and welcoming. I am a big fan! Itā€™s very walkable to all kinds of cafes, restaurants, shops, and attractions as well.

Fine for an overnight, glad we didnā€™t stay longer. Good location but really small ā€¦ and be prepared for trash trucks and other merchant noises very very early in the morning. Hard to sleep with windows open. Also, compared to other breakfasts weā€™ve had in Scandinavia, this was sub/par. Friendly, helpful staff ā€¦

Lovely hotel
Lovely, friendly city centre hotel. Perfect location in the middle of Gothenburg - tram stops 2min walk away. It can be a little noisy at night on a Friday and Saturday as you would expect in a city centre , but the windows are double glazed so it was not a problem. A fan was provided, which was great as it was warm during our stay. The cleanliness of the rooms could not be faulted Breakfast was fresh and good quality. We loved our stay at this charming hotel and would definitely stay again next time we visit Gothenburg.
