We loved our stay in this beautiful home near the Alhambra, enjoying the spectacular rooftop terrace every morning and evening when temperatures were more mild. The photos prepared us well for each of the clean and charming rooms, but we did not realize until arriving there would be a full flight of stairs between kitchen and living, living and main, main and bedrooms. In all there are 60 steps to take from your coffee pot in the morning up to enjoy it on the terrace. We got used to the stairs, though, and were thankful for being in good shape in order to enjoy the charm and breathtaking views this home offers. Parking was a bit tricky as well from the narrow street, we would definitely rent a much smaller car next time (which would benefit us in many of the public parking spaces we encountered during our day trips also). The walk down into town was easy, 15-20 minutes, the walk back was more of a challenge with steep hills or, as we happily found a couple blocks over, multiple staircases to reach the hilltop location. This, however, is why the views are so amazing...well worth the hike each and every time. Very easy walk to the stunning Alhambra. We would definitely choose this home to stay in again if we are fortunate enough to return to lovely Granada.
