Sandbar Living - Bay View - Island Realty

Sandbars private pier is complete!  You can fish and crab from the end section. This property is located right before the Grand Isle Bridge down West Central Avenue and offers accommodation to the Sandbar in front of the property. This place is perfect for small or large groups, weekend stays or extended vacation. This is a great location for families and fishermen with easy access to fishing from sandbar depending on tides. From the porch you will see a great view of the bay with beautiful sunrises in early morning hours along with a nice viewing of sunsets in the afternoons. Sandbar Living has all the modern amenities to make your stay one to remember: High Speed Internet, TV's throughout, a spacious kitchen and living room. Downstairs has a large well-lit cemented area for parking or to host large boil/gatherings, BBQ or just to hang out after a day from fishing or being on the beach.  You can cross the Grand Isle Bridge with your Golf Cart or Side by Side to access the Grand Isle Beach Area. Perfect area for launching Kayaks from Sandbar (depending on tide) or land next to Hwy. 1

Pier with dock gives water access for smaller boats, check tides for water and docking access. Sandbar for wading and kayak friendly protected water. Breakwater protection from wind and boating waves, crabbing and fishing from the dock during favorable tides.

Parking available for a maximum of 4-vehicles and one 25' boat on trailer. Parking on the west side of the camp in grass is permitted.

Note: Island Realty has no control over the Grand Isle Restoration project which may cause parts of the beach or crossover closings from time to time.  The project as it is funded and overseen by USACE.

Family Fishing Trip
Location of property was great! Enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably. Private dock/small beach area off back of property was awesome for keeping kiddos occupied. At the time of our stay washer was not working properly but host brought us extra clean towels right away. Overall the place was exactly what we needed.

The property was clean, easy to find and had a dock in the water. The washing machine was out of order. There was a VERY loud bar down the road that played music until2 AM making it difficult to rest in a Saturday night. The other nights were quiet. Great downstairs area for hanging out, boiling seafood, and grilling. One bedroom is an add on and looks like it. There was a huge hole in wall.

Great location and clean
The property is in a great location opposite the main island. The sandbar was fun for the kids, and it was nice not having the traffic and busyness of the main island. House was clean and comfortable. We had 6 adults and two kids, and I think we needed something a little bigger for all of us. The washing machine was horrendous and needs to be fixed ASAP. We couldn't wash hardly anything without it banging. Railing outside on patio needs additional slats for child safety. All doors in house need to be replaced due to difficulty closing. Could have used some additional things like cutting boards and pots. The fry baskets were awesome though. Property mgr was slow to respond.

Clean lovely grand isle location
Upon arrival, we were very happy with the location and the amenities. The place was updated and very clean. It was very nice to have a grill and a boiling station. It was also great being on the water can go fishing right in the backyard or throw crab traps out there. The rental agency was very helpful and responsive would recommend and would stay there again thanks, Matt.
