Was a little disappointed the hot tub was out of order. Maybe a few updates here and there ...nothing major just normal wear and tear of hotel. Loved the fact was well lit felt safe and had gated fenced in smoking area.Was in town for Stevie Nicks make up concert in Sept. Stayed sunday-wednesday. The staff was helpful and polite...and very interactive treated us like a friend rather than a customer...They all deserve 5 stars. The price was VERY reasonable. The rooms were clean and our house keeper was a sweetie.If I am in town again over night I'll be back...

When we first arrived, there was three police officers there the staff was very rude. When we got to the room. There was mold in the bathtub the walls all through the hotel were dirty. The carpet was dirty. The whole hotel smelled terrible. The TV only had four channels on it, and when we asked the front desk, they said they donā€™t know about any channels because they have never had to stay in a room. The hot tub was surrounded with caution tape the pool smelled like mold. The breakfast was terrible. The hotel was full of prostitutes.

The entire property was run down and dirty. Smells throughout, especially our room which smelled like a combination of marijuana and ramen noodles. The shower in particular was disgusting, bad enough that we didnā€™t use it.

The hallways were very dirty, carpets smelt dirty, moldy and cigarettes smelt everywhere. The elevator wobbly and squicky, smelt dirty. The fridge in the room was not cooling. Breakfast was a disaster, frozen muffins, not very much options. Very disappointing experience.

I like how the staff was very professional but this hotel if you call it that itā€™s more like a homeless shelter was completely dirty, no A/C, dirty bathrooms, no amenities, and the pool upstairs seemed like it didnā€™t have any chlorine in it. Surprisingly it was clean. Also nothing seemed like it was wiped down or disinfected!

No working hot tub. Thereā€™s two hotels in the same building. No stairs to get into the pool only two 3 step ladders. Non smoking property and my room smelled like weed my whole stay. Hotel staff was ok. They didnā€™t mention what time breakfast was at so I missed it both days. Itā€™s from 6-9. Hotel room door had an issue shutting. Had issue opening the room door as well. The rooms are NOT what they look like online. The rooms online are super nice and in person they do not look the same at all. Almost left this property to stay at another hotel that was way better quality. Really noisy as well and quiet hours were never put in effect.

I booked a room to stay for myself and my kids for family weekend at GVSU. I was mortified at the smell and how dirty everything was! The hallways carpets are completely stained, the room had BLACK MOLD on the shower and the shower tile grout was disgusting! I was so afraid to sleep with the screaming, and filth we left.

Horrible. So dirty. Smelt like smoke so bad. I literally had to ask for a refund because I couldnā€™t breathe it was so Smokey. Mattress covers were stained brown, red and yellow. So glad we did not sleep there.

I order two rooms, didn't look at the reviews since it's a Wyndham hotel and they are usually quality. A day before I was supposed to stay there I realized from other reviews that it was a hell hole of a place. And I was honestly scared to stay here. I tried to get a refund and none was given. I will never be booking a Wyndham hotel again.

I thought it would as nice as the other Baymont closer to the airport but I was wrong. The outside looks nice but the inside needs a lot of help, donā€™t mind the beat down old walls with cracks but the curtains were filthy dirty & the bathroom shower was/is in need of a renovation, I donā€™t like leaving bad reviews I rather not leave a review but I was also blamed for ā€œsmoking in the roomā€ which I did not do. It was a cheap hotel in terms of rates but I guess you get what you pay for. Will definitely be going back to the other Baymont when & if I do ever go back to Grand Rapids , MI , itā€™s a little longer drive but definitely worth the drive because of how much cleaner the other Baymont is.
