The room was clean & bed and linens were clean & comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Walls could use some TLC. You could tell the place was older & there was patchwork done. Nothing terrible. The outside looks like each room has a balcony. They are faux balconies covering the AC unit under the windows.. The pool is big although it felt cold to us so we did not get in. The hot tub is huge, & it was hot & the Jets worked so that was my favorite part. The River Rock restaurant was not open so that was a disappointment. The hotel advertised online looks like the restaurant is still in business. The breakfast buffet is not included. It is 11.99. We are glad we looked at the buffet before paying & staying. The buffet was less than desirable for the price. There was Continental breakfast, and then for the hot breakfast it was like most other hotels that offer free breakfast. There was scrambled eggs, what looked like microwaved sausage, dry biscuits, sausage gravy, & cubed potatoes that were as white as could be with no seasoning. Everything was probably warmed up from a plastic bag. I would say that breakfast should be free & included with your stay with how cheap & easy it looked. Otherwise it should have been something cooked fresh from the kitchen of the restaurant that's not in use. Checked in on the Friday after Labor Day, for veteran husband's birthday. No discount for birthday or military. No upgrade. It would have been nice to be upgraded to a Riverview room on highest floor.

Cheap but not what I would expect for a Radisson
This place should be a great place to stay; it is right on the River, just a 7-minute drive to downtown, but it has fallen on hard times. No restaurant was available while we were there; thank goodness for DoorDash because it is also not close to any place to eat. That being said, we went during GrrCon, and the price was very reasonable, and the room was cleanish. They were also painting in the lobby, so they seemed to be trying. But our bathroom tub has seen better days, and they appeared to have caulked over mold that can be seen under the caulk-yuck!

This location was only Radisson in name, it was located and what appeared to be a high crime area with numerous homeless. The building appeared very dirty with worn carpet and numerous cosmetic and structural issues. The business is behind the hotel almost appeared as if they were abandoned buildings based on how poor they were maintained. As it was checking in a man carrying a bag of personal items containing his property from a local jail or prison was checking in front of me.

This property had some pretty critical reviews, so I was a bit worried ahead of my stay. It was a late booking during a conference, so options were limited. The place overall was ok, but limited. The patio was ā€œclosed due to restaurant being closed ā€œ which I thought was unique. It could definitely use an update. My main issue is honestly location (which they cannot help). There really arenā€™t any decent walkable food options for breakfast or dinner. With all the other options in the area, I would probably choose something else.

The people working the front desk are efficient, friendly. The manager was also involved in the day to day activities and very helpful. My room was as expected but the bathroom wasnā€™t as clean as I like. The shower head was dirty. It would be an added attraction to have coffee and water available (free) and some breakfast foods- like other Hotels offer, in the morning. I will stay here on my next visit to Grand Rapids- The hotel is conveniently located and has access to highways going in all directions.

This hotel was very dirty. The towels were all dirty in our room. There was even a wash rag hanging on the shower rod with body hair on it. The bathroom floor was wet upon our arrival as if someone had just gotten out of the shower. Stains everywhere you look. The sheet on the bed was inside out making me think they just flipped it over after the last person used it. Would never stay here again.

My first room has a towel under the fridge and smelled like it was defrosted that way. Moved to the next where the shower, phone and lamp did not work. Floors were covered in dust and hair. The toilet bowl was covered in urine. The next room was also filthy. You can tell they don't clean their rooms. It's all together bad. And for almost $890 to stay there, I wish I would have paid $1500 somewhere else. Lesson learned, The Radisson is notorious for selling their round down hotels to third parties that can't maintain them because of infrastructure issues. There was mold coming out of the ceiling. The building was dirty outside. Run
