The property is located within our small vineyard which in turn is located within a plot of land (owned by others), in the splendid Alcantara Valley. An ideal place to spend holidays in direct contact with nature and away from chaos and stress. The area is isolated and there are no houses nearby but it is located just 900 meters from the center of the town of Gaggi. Excellent starting point for excursions to the tourist locations in the area. (Taormina, Giardini Naxos, Aeolian Islands, Catania, Syracuse etc) or for beautiful walks (trekking) in the midst of nature (Rocche dell'Argimusco, Bosco di Malabotta, Etna Park, Alcantara River Park). Furthermore, less than an hour's drive away you can visit beautiful villages, one above all Montalbano Elicona elected the most beautiful village in Italy in 2015. If you are passionate about wine you can have tastings in the most prestigious Sicilian wineries located on the slopes of Etna along the road that leads to the medieval village of Randazzo with its numerous churches.
The structure consists of a small cottage (two-room) equipped with all the comforts to make your stay pleasant. The bedroom is air conditioned with a double bed and a bunk bed, the eat-in and equipped kitchen is equipped with electric paddle ventilation. The furnishings are simple but functional.
In the summer period you can use the above ground swimming pool and the solarium. (June-September)

A rainy stay in a vineyard
This charming, simple house is set in the foothills of Etna surrounded by lush vineyards, olive & citrus groves. It's a great location for visiting Taormina and the coast as well as venturing up the Alcantara valley & villages beyond. Our hosts Francesco and Giovanna were welcoming and helpful, recommending places to visit. But it rained ... and rained. We didn't see Etna at all until our third day. So, be warned, late June in Sicily can feel much like England in April. We'd recommend this little house in Gaggi to anyone who likes to get away from it all for a while.

peaceful house set among the vineyards
Lovely house set among vineyards and olive groves .If it's total peace and quiet and relaxation you are looking for then this is the place .It is set about 500metres along an unmade road so a car is essential .Giovanna and Francesco are excellent hosts and we were made to feel very welcome .SIcilian
People are very warm and welcoming and we were invited to dinner with their
Family and friends which was a very enjoyable evening .There are many activities near to the property and further afield including Mt Etna and various
Coastal towns within easy reach via the motorway which is free except for a nominal toll to Cantania .
We really enjoyed our stay in Sicily and look forward to returning in the future

Peaceful, tranquil and great hospitality
Giovanna and Francesco were the perfect They patiently attended to us after our flight was delayed. We received home grown tomatoes and a bottle of wine (A product of the vineyard that flanks the house). They also invited us for dinner, where we experienced great Sicilian food and hospitality. The house is well equipped and very clean. It's perfectly located, away from the hussle and bussle but still close enough to access it easily. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Ciao

We've stayed at this villa in March 2016 for three days and were very happy about the experience. The house was equipped with everything you need. Jovanna and Francesco were really helpful and answered all the questions about the area. They gave us a bottle of the wine made from their own grapes and that was really pleasant. Can gladly recommend this rental to the couples. As for the families I found that the bedroom though it has bunk bed for two kids would be too crowded for 4 people. Overall the farm was really nice and we would rent it again.

Wonderful relaxing stay!
A small and simple house with the most beautiful location in the middle of the vineyard. The house contains everything you need and appeared very clean. The host Francesco is a very friendly and helpful person, with tips and information about the area, and supplier of fresh eggs, tomatoes, wine etc. The house also includes Rocky and Giacomina, an older dog and a cheeky but sweet cat, they live on the grounds , but suits itself. The area is located with a breathtaking view of the mountains, close to Etna, and close to the coast and the beautiful city of Taormina. The weather was beautiful and the pool was frequently used and regularly cleaned by Francesco. Summary, a fantastic stay that we can highly recommend and to which we would like to return.

Idyllisch gelegen - pure Entspannung!
Das Ferienhaus befindet sich am Ortsrand von Gaggi, inmitten eines Weinbergs. Wir wurden bei unserer Ankunft freundlich und warmherzig begrĆ¼Ćt und erhielten sogleich eine SchĆ¼ssel Tomaten/ Zwiebeln und Knoblauch aus dem Heimischen Garten und 3 Flaschen selbstgemachten Wein. Die Unterkunft teilte sich in zwei baulich getrennte Ferienwohnungen. Der Pool war ausreichend, mit Blick auf den Ćtna. Die AuĆenanlage ist idyllisch angelegt, mit einer schƶnen Grillecke und gemĆ¼tlicher Sitzecke unter Weinranken. Von Gaggi aus erreicht man die Ć¼blichen Ausflugsziele wie Taormina und den Ćtna zeitnah und problemlos. Wir waren alles in allem begeistert und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĆ¼hlt. Ein wunderbares GrundstĆ¼ck auf dem Land. OlivenbƤume, ObstbƤume und Weinreben umgeben ein sehr gepflegtes kleines Anwesen. Ideal zum Erholen
Das Haus ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen, mit schƶner Aussicht Ć¼ber Weinfelder und Olivenhaine zum Ćtna. Trotzdem ist man zu FuĆ innerhalb weniger Minuten im Ort, der alle notwendigen GeschƤfte und auch verschiedenen Gastronomiebetriebe bietet.
Die Vermieter sind ƤuĆerst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und versorgten uns immer wieder mit frischem Obst und GemĆ¼se aus ihrem angrenzenden Garten.
Fazit: Ohne jede EinschrƤnkung zu empfehlen!

Ferienhaus Graniti
Das kleine und ruhige Ferienhaus liegt idyllisch zwischen OrangenbƤumen und Weinreben. Auch eine groĆe Terrasse mit Sitzgelegenheiten, Grill und Pool (nur im Sommer) ist vorhanden. Perfekt geeignet, um viel Zeit drauĆen zu verbringen. Die freundlichen Vermieter haben uns mit vielen Tips und mit sehr leckeren Orangen versorgt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt, um die schƶne Landschaft der Umgebung zu erkunden bzw. um ein paar Tage abzuschalten. Ein eigenes Auto ist empfehlenswert.

nous avons sĆ©journĆ© au Vignoble Ć 4 adultes une semaine en Juillet 2018. la location est trĆØs trĆØs agrĆ©able, entourĆ©e de champs d'oliviers, de citronniers, de vignes tout en Ć©tant Ć 5 mn du village de Gaggi ou l'on trouve tout pour se ravitailler. Par cette chaleur, nous avons pu profiter de la piscine avec vue sur l'Etna bercĆ©s par le champ des cigales. En fait la locations est composĆ©e des deux corps de bĆ¢timents . Pour l'un piĆØce Ć vivre avec cuisine amĆ©nagĆ©e, une chambre (pouvant accueillir deux adultes et deux enfants et salle d'eau , et l'autre un studio super bien Ć©quipĆ© et joliment dĆ©corĆ©..
avec cusine amĆ©nagĆ©e et salle d'eau, ce qui permet lorsque l'on est Ć deux couples d'avoir un peu son indĆ©pendance.
Quant Ć Giovanna et Francesco, ils sont adorables. trĆØs attentionnĆ©s envers leurs locataires.Francesco nous a fait profiter des fruits de son jardin et du vin de sa production. Ils ont Ć©tĆ© de bons conseils pour notre sĆ©jour dans cette rĆ©gion de Sicile

Sehr schƶnes ruhig gelegenes Haus mit Blick auf den Ćtna
Schƶn gelegenes Haus, fĆ¼r unsere AnsprĆ¼che super. Francesco und Giovanna sind sehr nette Gastgeber, die auch ein paar Tipps fĆ¼r Unternehmungen und Ziele in der Umgebung geben. Im Haus war alles vorhanden, was man benƶtigt. Und groĆer Pluspunkt war der Pool, auf die Erfrischung haben wir uns immer gefreut, wenn wir zurĆ¼ck kamen.

Sehr ruhig, naturverbunden und erholsam
FĆ¼r alle, die Ruhe suchen und vƶllig entspannt den Tag auf einer schattigen Terasse oder im Pool verbringen mƶchten, kƶnnen wir dieses Haus sehr empfehlen. Die freundlichen und aufmerksamen Vermieter haben bei der Einrichtung des Hauses an alles gedacht. Die Lage des Hauses macht ein Auto erforderlich, ermƶglicht es aber auch, die SehenswĆ¼rdigkeiten der Insel auf unproblematische und schnelle Weise zu erreichen. Wir waren drei Wochen hier zu Gast. Und: wir wĆ¼rden es wieder tun.

Avec lāEtna et la mer Ć quelques km ce petit paradis de la Sicile profonde nous a Ć©merveillĆ© par sa tranquillitĆ©, ses parfums dāolivier et dāagrimes.

Ruhige, gut ausgestattete Unterkunft.

Eine Oase
Zu viert haben wir zwei Wochen lang Sizilien bereist und dabei insgesamt drei verschiedene Quartiere in Anspruch genommen. Entsprechend drƤngt sich daher natĆ¼rlich ein Vergleich dieser HƤuser auf.
Dieses Haus ā unser drittes Quartier ā liegt nƶrdlich des Ćtnas am Rand eines Weingartens. Es ist ein schƶn und praktisch hergerichtetes Ƥlteres Landhaus, das auch zum Entspannen verleitet. Wir haben in den 5 Tagen kein einziges Mal im Haus gegessen, da die Ć¼berdachte Terrasse so einladend war. Und der Gipfel des Ćtnas hat sich meist beim FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck meist blicken lassen. Die Vermieter waren sehr entgegenkommend und haben uns mit Wein und Obst aus eigenem Anbau verwƶhnt. Ein absolut zu empfehlendes Quartier.
