Relax on the extra deep down filled sectional and watch your favorite shows on the large flat screen with Roku or enjoy the warmth from the wood burning stove. This Loft offers dedicated dining, living room, kitchen, office and bedroom areas. Light cooking options available, NOT a full Kitchen.

Pleasant stay!
The loft is gorgeous, with really nice surroundings. It was nice and quiet, but close enough to the towns nearby for when you want to do things. Check-in was very smooth. The host was very communicative. Really hope to come back again soon!

Beautiful property
We needed a quiet get away, and this was just the ticket. Everything was well thought out and so attentive to detail. It has a beautiful bathroom. The Loft is a very spacious and functional space, with comfortable furnishings including the patio furniture on both decks. We will definitely come and stay again! Great instructions/communications for everything we needed.

This place is better than the listing! Just like the listing says, this is where you go for peace, quiet and relaxation. This is not a party house. Immaculate condition and total comfort with all the amenities you should need. I make several trips to Grass Valley every year and this is now my favorite place to stay. Joyce is awesome to deal with!!

Quiet & spacious loft
Quick overnight getaway. Great communication. No complaints. We didn’t find a charging area for our devices so bring your own and shoes aren’t allowed inside so bring slippers or flip-flops as the floors are beautiful slate tiles throughout.

The property is definitely well taken care of. Everything feels clean and comfortable. They even have the nice clean robes for us to use. The instructions are also simple and clear. We had no trouble to figure things out. Location is also great, it is very easy get to Nevada City. Too bad, our schedule is so packed that we couldn’t explore the nearby area. I do think some of the windows might need thicker curtains for privacy, however, it didn’t bother us much. Overall, we really enjoyed the weekend that we spend at the property.

This property is immaculate! It's located in between Grass Valley and Nevada City 10 min from each which was perfect. We stayed three nights. There is one draw back, no stove or oven just a toaster oven so if you were staying longer and didn't want to eat out every day it would be challenging. If I come back to the area I would always stay here lots of room and the owners are amazing answered questions right away after texting. There is a small plane airport that runs along side of the property it was fun seeing them and we did not hear them at night only during the day.

Dual function Real Estate Office/VRBO rental
This rental is accurately described in terms of spaciousness and cleanliness, with the omittance that it is also the host's Real Estate office. While this may not bother some guests, it did bother us. We spent two nights at the loft and felt that it is outfitted to show well more than to function well. The kitchenette looks cute and is outfitted with a large Expresso maker, but the very small counter space is not practical to prepare meals. There was a dual burner hot plate tucked away in the cabinet, but we needed to plug/unplug things to make room to fix breakfast. We did not prepare dinner at the loft. There is no dishwasher. A hot water kettle would have been helpful to make tea or hot water in general, because it took a long time and many wasted gallons of water before the water got hot. The bathroom was very nicely equipped, but located all the way on the opposite side of the sleeping area, closest to the "office corner". A trip to the bathroom in the middle of the night was dark and cold on the beautiful stone floor. There were no window covers the side of the loft facing away from the driveway, although there were curtain rods. We couldn't help but notice that the curtain in the bathroom was a roughly cut remnant from another piece, sides unhemmed and unfinished. I don't know if there was a place to stow away clothes - the dresser was full of stuff and we didn't bother to look elsewhere, but hung our clothes on the coat rack by the real estate corner. The bed sheets were lovely and good quality, but we found the bed too soft. It would have been helpful to have USB plugs to charge phones near the nightstands. We arrived at the property early and reached out to the owner asking if we could drop off our bags. She responded very quickly and was gracious to allow us to do so. Lastly, the property is very close to the local airport and it was very noisy when planes were taking off. Overall it was okay, but we would not return.

Beautiful Stay
My husband and I stayed at this property for three days in mid October. The loft is very private, away from Grass Valley and Nevada City yet close enough to shop, eat, and do city walking tours. Tanya, our hostess, could have not been more attentive to our needs while not being intrusive. The furnishings were beautiful and nicely appointed. with all the amenities one would need.
