A Peaceful and Secluded Getaway
This was the perfect house to escape the city over the weekend. Plenty of room to hang out with a cozy fire, lots of space to cook large meals, and the view from the hot tub can't be beat. The kitchen is stocked with every gadget and tool imaginable. Communication with the host was fast and helpful. We had a great time. Highly recommend if you're looking for some quiet time away from the chaos.

The Perfect Romantic Getaway
My partner and I stayed here to celebrate Christmas a bit early before we traveled separately to see our families. I truly have never been so impressed with a rental. My partner and I agreed that it was the most beautiful rental either of us had ever visited. The check-in process was clear and easy and the house was appointed with all the supplies and amenities we needed and wanted. We only needed our swimsuits and groceries! The pictures do not do the home justice and we are already discussing when we can return.

Great house
I loved this rental! House was gorgeous, property was perfect for exploring with my Doberman. This was a getaway for my daughters sweet 16. The hot tub was a hit! Comfortable beds, cozy home. Note: although front yard is fenced , its quite short , and gate didnt lock, i had to put twine on gate to keep closed. My dog respected boundaries even though he could easily jump fence. It was fine for me for I'm a trainer and he has excellent recall, even sighting deer which are everywhere. I mention this if you're relying on fence to contain your dog, its not secure, but it worked for us and was a non issue.

Well stocked and very comfortable
We loved our stay! Everything from booking to checking out went flawlessly. The hosts are very responsive and timely and nothing was left to chance. We were AMAZED at the condition of the kitchen. All the tools and and gadgets to prepare anything - better than my own home! There were even a full compliment of spices, oils, vinegar and coffee. All of the things you usually have to run to the market just to have a teaspon for a recipe! The amenities were also perfect for us. We grilled every night and enjoyed the tabletop fireplace on the deck. We also used the hot tub multiple times every day. We went for a float in the pond with floats we brought with us, and it was wonderful. Look, it's a pond, its got a slimy bottom and there is wildlife, but we wore water shoes and weren't bothered by anything for the hours we spent in it. The wifi and TV's also worked well, and the bed and bathrooms were well-appointed and very comfortable. We were looking for a place to grill and chill and listen to music and relax, and this home was perfect. We'll be back!

Beautiful, stocked home - couldn't have asked for anything more. If you are looking for a break away from the world, this is the place for you. There is nothing I would change. We loved everything about the home and the area - a chance to decompress and just relax. The hosts were attentive and responsive. Just perfect!

My family and I had great stay at this beautiful home. The house is well maintained and immaculate, and the communication and responsiveness of the property manager was excellent. Would definitely stay here again for a mountain retreat or ski trip.

Thoughtful details such as fresh plants and flowers, plenty of toilet paper and tissues, the guys who came to dig us out after the snow, water that quickly gets hot - this stay was perfection. Lots of places to plug in and charge electronics, three dining tables (a round 4 top in the kitchen, a 6-8 table in the dining room, and a pretty white wicker glass topped on the front porch). Furniture was comfortable, but in perfect shape, extra blankets for cozy times in front of the fire. We used one side of the dining room table to work on puzzles. Basically, we arrived for our week and were so content that we didn’t leave the house even once during our stay. Ideal for quiet family, friend, or couples getaways The only downside was needing to leave!

The perfect getaway with amazing views.
Perfect stay. The property is beautiful with breathtaking views, the house was absolutely amazing! It had everything we needed, and more, we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the fireworks from afar, we spent a lot of time just reading and relaxing, we also went down to the flea market on Sunday. We couldn’t ask for anything more. The house was just perfect, very clean, cozy and very organized. Beautiful location. Close to lots to do. Host was exceptionally nice and accommodating. Definitely would love to return again soon.

Great Stay At Gray Hill Retreat!
We stayed at Gray Hill Retreat with friends and had an amazing stay! It was a perfect location for our ski weekend getaway being only 25 scenic minutes from Windham Mountain. The location was very cozy and roomy with multiple fire places (stocked with wood) and all the amenities you can think of. We especially loved playing the great collection of CDs from the entertainment system and cooking meals together in the kitchen. Be sure to catch the sunrise over the pond if you’re an early riser! Bonnie and Michal were great hosts. We’ll definitely be booking another weekend at Gray Hill Retreat in the future!
