Hotels with Restaurants in Great Barrier Island

Great views across the water and very secluded. It wasn’t quite how the pictures show and needs a little work to get back to the standard of the original photos and some parts need a bit of a clean. I understand it is high in the trees so there will have been insects about and that’s all fine, but the windows hadn’t been cleaned on the outside for a while, the driveway needs some weeding/ferns nurtured so it is easier to park/get out. Also, some areas inside need cleaning (corners on the floor, shelves in the cabinet etc). Perhaps, the chairs replaced so they are similar to the ones in the picture. For the price charged I think there needs to be some changes to make it more beautiful and worth the money, compared to other places on the island. Some of the communication is conflicting and needs updating regarding check-in times, parking place.

We had an amazing summer holiday staying here with our 1 year old daughter. Nice easy walk to the beach. Stunning views from the deck and bedroom. Everything you could need in a modern house.

Very nice little cabin on Aotea! Everything was functional and clean. Great place to hang for a few days to do the hikes and look at the stars
