New owners not Super 8
The hotel is no longer Super 8. It is called the Grizzly. The new owners bought it a minth a go.
Even though the owner was great, the shift manager didn't recognize that we had a booking. He looked up on his computer and said it wasn't on there. Even with my confirmation on my phone he wouldn't recognize my booking still.
There was no prewarning that the hotel was changing to give us a chance to make other arrangements.
If the owner wasn't there to point out that was a stack of printed out Super 8 bookings the shift manager acted like he knew nothing trouble is the ypung girl there said they were over on the counter.
The owner was very kind and helped us.
The room wasn't what we booked vut the accommodated us as best they could. Booked a King got a double queen. There was only enough towels for one person, there was no trash bin either, had to ask for both.
I understand change overs are hard but a prewarning would have been given.
