Biggest complaint is lack of housekeeping and lack of attentiveness by the staff. 3 day stay had to beg for towels and tp and finally last day snagged some from a housekeeper cart parked by the elevator. Don't know why front desk couldn't get us any. Good location. Nice to have 2 rooms.

The parking was said to be 7 dollars a day. That was true as long as you did not leave the parking lot. Each time you left, you were charged a fee. The last night, they closed the parking lot due to work. It cost much more than it's worth.

Normally, I do not leave bad reviews, but I was very surprised by this room and thought I would leave a review. The girl checking us in was rather rude. If you wanted to know anything that you would normally be told a check in you had to ask and she acted like you were bothering her. The room had a bad musty smell. The air conditioner was not working properly and the bed made a terrible, creaking sound anytime someone moved I did not expect this at all from this room.

There was a view of the river; the mattress was comfortable. However, the bed and bath linens were old and worn and well-past needing to be replaced. We selected this hotel based on there being an indoor pool because this is a top priority for our three small children. Unfortunately, we discovered it was ice cold once we arrived at the pool because a heating element was not working.

Room is looking worn. TV never worked. It said no signal when it was turned on. The best thing about this hotel is the location.

Weekend visit
Newer style Embassy Suites right in the action of fun downtown Greenville SC. Smaller sized rooms than in some other Embassies. Decent breakfast but poor snacks for happy hour. Roof top bar/restaurant needs better management. Very good valet.
