Hotel is in serious need of a up grade. The bathroom door needs oiling. The lights all need the bugs removed. The bathroom floor was like ice! We were refused a second key. There were 2 of us and each with a different plan we were forced to change plans not knowing when the other would return to room. The dead bolt didn't work and door handle was not right.

Evening Star Motel is an older motel, but still very clean, and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and kind. I will definitely return!

I booked this property out of necessity. I moved to the area for work and Evening Star was one of the few places with space that weekend. I looked through their website to look for their pet policy and did not see any specific policy at the time of booking. When I arrived, their sign-in has a statement declaring "All Pets Must Be Reported." So, I reported my cat to be respectful of their policy. The lady I was trying to check in with became incredibly rude when I informed her I had a small cat. She rudely stated "No pets under any circumstances." I recommend this property owner update their website to clearly inform potential clients of their FIRM No Pet Policy, so people like me (who are moving here for work) don't have to sleep in their cars like I did that first night!
